Old vs. New

This Sunday was a day of trying new things and enjoying old ones…

No Run: Rest day. After breakfast I did some blog reading and went to yoga 🙂 It is so nice to just have a good “stretchy” yoga class after a long run day! I really don’t stretch often and appreciate when I have to do it in yoga.

Old : Oatmeal, same as usual…dscn7347

New :This Pulled “Chicken” from TJ’s – which I did not like. I had it for lunch on a bagel. It looks better than it tasted, I can’t really describe in detail why it wasn’t good, it was just pretty bland. dscn7349

dscn7353dscn7351dscn7352Oh, and I felt the need for dessert with lunch – PB & dark chocolate melted on a bagel dscn7356– heavenly!

New:Kashi Pilaf stuff – which I did like.dscn7365

Dinner was the pilaf topped with garbanzos and a little turkey meat with red curry sauce and a brussels.

dscn7360New : Coconut Pineapple Juice – I cannot stop sneaking little sips of it, I’ve probably drank a couple of cups by now, but I feel guilty just going for it and drinking a whole glass. This is one of those situations where I am still eating/drinking the calories in something, but I don’t actually give myself permission to have it so I snack on it little by little and overeat it at the end of the day…dscn7362

Old:Yogurtland – my all time favorite dessert ever 🙂dscn7366

Now I’m stealing some sips of Ben’s Malibu and Coconut/Pineapple juice beverage 🙂 It reminds me of a Pina Colada and now I’m dreaming of a beach vacation…

See you tomorrow!

That chicken-less chicken looks eerily authentic!

    Love the curly straw:)

Gorgeous eats today! Especially that gooey impromptu dessert. 😉

Doing yoga on your rest day sounds so fantastically relaxing. I’m definitely going to try that out sometime!
