Hello! I just spend the day at Disneyland with my little brother. We have annual passes and I’m not going to be able to renew mine next year so I want to take advantage of it while I can! I know you’re probably busy with life and school and work and eating and running and everything else so I’ll just share the highlights.
The Christmas decorations are up at Disneyland and CA Adventure! Everything is so festive and happy. I love it.
My ‘little’ brother is like 5’10”. Not so little! But he can’t drive yet so I still get to pick the radio station.
We started at Disneyland and caught a tiny bit of the parade on our way to California Adventure.
We went on the Hollywood Tower of Terror. Go big or go home! It is scary and awesome. I didn’t realize it’s been so long since I did this one.
Then, we headed back to Disneyland to get on the Haunted Mansion with our fast passes. It’s all decorated for Christmas with a Nightmare Before Christmas theme. They change the ride a lot so it is fun to see all the holiday updates each year.
I feel totally into the holiday spirit now! Let the Christmas music and eggnog begin!!
I bought Matt a salted caramel churro on the way out and they gave us TWO!
When fate hands you a churro, you accept.
Pile on the Miles Check In
This morning (before all the Disneyland fun) I hit up the gym for a strength training session. It was a GREAT class. Whenever someone asks about my workout I say, “She just doesn’t waste my time!” regarding the instructor. She definitely makes it worth it to show up because I know I get a good workout.
Gina says
Crossfit WOD on Wednesday and Turkey day. I need to get back into running – I ran on Tuesday and had a great run. I also noticed I’m not as lean lately. Running, I need you.
That is all.

I’ve been to Disneyland once, on New Year’s Day. I loved all of the holiday decorations and the parade. I really want to visit again soon (preferably for a half marathon) because that visit was 20 years ago! Plan to get a run in soon once the temp is at least in the high 20’s. Brrrr!

So, I am cooking and cleaning like crazy. Going to try to make it to a yoga class at the gym and I’ll do some lifting later today. It’s super cold here, so I’ve been “speed” walking my dog and we are really enjoying it. He’d rather stop and smell every blade of grass, but I’m all about moving. Happy Thanksgiving! I might try that sweet potato casserole.
Crystal says
I got a nice walk the baby to nap walk in and 1.5 miles on the treadmill until I heard the wee one at the top of the stairs crying for momma! Not the plan but happy to get in 3 miles between the run and walk before heading to Thanksgiving #1. Tuesday before Thanksgiving our church always puts on a full Thanksgiving. I made a turkey and stuffing! So much fun and FOOD!
