Hello! Welcome to Friday! I know some of us have had a hard week. Like my cat Vegas for example… let me take you through a day in his life:
Day in the life of my cat
5am: Wakes up and meows at me to get up. Head butts me on the chin. Bites my chin. I get mad and push him off the bed.

5:15am: Goes back to sleep.
8am: Hears me in the living room, comes to investigate… Decides to lay on my yoga mat. Guess I can’t do my daily plank… darn

8:30am Go back to sleep.
12pm Still sleeping. Opens one eye when I come in to bug him.

5pm: Wakes to find a new location to sleep. Lays on my new mirror box.

9pm: Sleeping.
9:30pm: Wakes up ready for the day! Eats and drinks, looks out the window.
Goes back to sleep.

Speaking of Vegas…
I hit up Costco for some essentials for Las Vegas next weekend… #Yes

Am a bit behind… On saturday y did abs with the boyfriend. People who workout together, stay together 😉
I ran 4 miles.
Today’s workout was teaching and running choreography with my students for our upcoming program!
Day 7- 45 Mins of Body Pump and 45 Mins of Spin
Day 8- Unplanned Rest Day due to family things- planning for a long run today for Day 9!
I couldn’t tell you exact mileage, but I walked all over San Antonio and the airport!

Perhaps I am not following the directions well – but I completed my goal for the week yesterday, I got in 6 miles for this week 🙂
I did a 6k temporun on Friday. Was hard after a no-run-week. In training for a half marathon in March, so I need to get with the program.

The longest 2 miles ever due to this sinus infection. At least I felt well enough to leave the house.
Well… it seems the weather has decided to thwart my training. Why? You remember the Polar vortex that came down early this year, in the middle of Winter? Well, it’s decided to descend on Chitown once again starting Monday. I’m talking very low 30s as a high. So I went out today to stock up on food and such and managed to put in 4 miles. I plan on continue walking at home, doing yoga and such, but there’s no more running until the actual 5K or until the max goes up to, say, 50s.

I ended up walking my 3 miles last night. 6 pm and the shoes just come on. Today I’m frogging around the floor putting a quilt in the frame then 3 more miles :O)

I have been horrible about checking in. I came down with something on Sunday and didn’t start out well. However, I have MOVED Tuesday to today. At least a 60 minute workout each day. Today I did a 60 minute cardio sculpt class. I am looking forward to a 5-6 mile run with some girlfriends tomorrow.

I have those Guess heels in the multi-color glitter, and I LOVE them. I wore them to the military ball this year & was surprised how easily I could walk & dance in them. They eventually came off of course though. Lol

Today was supposed to be a rest day before a mid-distance tempo run tomorrow, but a friend just called and asked me to pace her (goal pace of 8:30/mi.) for a 10-miler tomorrow instead. Of course I said yes, but since my tempo run just got switched to a slower pace, I’ll likely throw in an extra 4-5 miles during my lunch break today!
