I have the busiest weekend of my life right now so I am off to a race expo, family party and staying with my Mom. Wish me luck on life right now!!

My plan is for 50 miles this month: I ran 7 miles on Sunday…then came down with a horrible cold so I’ve been out for the count..

Today…. 8 treadmill miles…. Every mile getting progressively faster (that was my intention) but mile 6-8 were the same speed!

I did a Jillian Michael’s video yesterday so I was worried I would be too sore to make my run this morning. I woke up motivated and completed my 4 miles before work!
I ran 5k on November 2nd followed by a leg workout at the gym!
This challenge couldn’t have come at a better time for me. I’m just starting to create some healthy habits, one of which is move more. So, my goal is to walk at least one mile every single day. I walked 1.5 miles and did a short arm workout this morning before work. 🙂

I ran my first half marathon, Moose Pond Half, on Nov 1 (Saturday)! 13.1 is a great way to start November!
Got in an AWESOME 3 mile walk with my hubby and the basset hounds!
I started to pile on the miles by making a commitment to get on the treadmill for at least 30 minutes a day for all 30 days of November! As I write this on Monday morning the 3rd, I am doing great! I also entered a DietBet. Here’s to a great Thanksgiving without all of the guilt!
I didn’t start the piles yet, but I did go to a dueling piano bar in DC and it was a blast!!
I ran a half marathon on a ski slope! It was super hard but I finished it! Good way to start the month!
I went for a nice but chilly 4 mile run yesterday.
I’m in! I need to get back into running consistently not this random 1-2 days a week or just on the weekends. I’m going to run 3x a week and take yoga at least once. I bought a bikram yoga package and love it!
I didn’t do anything on the 1st but today I did a boot camp class in the morning and then did a nice 6 mile sunset run. Fresh legs and fall weather make me happy!!
Treadmill 20 minutes, bike 10 minutes
November 1 and 2 were mostly rest days. I went to the NYC marathon and cheered on my best friend. Being supportive is half the battle, tomorrow, I start piling on the miles.

I ran a 10k this morning! It was blustery cold! I ran 0.5 miles yesterday just to see how my legs were feeling.
Walked today too, less than my goal, but not by much- 1.07 miles.
Rest day today, although ended up moving my elderly grandpa.

No running for me today, but I volunteered at our local marathon/half at an aid station and had so much fun! Definitely something I will do again soon. So good to give back to the running community and cheer people on.

Goal = workout 5 times a week + yoga at least once a week.
11/1 and 11/2 were rest days. With 5 days of intense workouts, a couple rest days are necessary to rest up for a week of hard workouts ahead!

I ran 5.4 miles today, with a couple walk/stretch breaks. Trying to get back on track and get some miles in before a half marathon on 11/23.
My goal is to exercise 5 times a week minimum. Today I played softball and hiked some hardcore stairs. Going to do some leg work later so solid day!

I am day late… Yesterday was spent unpacking and furniture shopping, that counts as exrrcise, right? My goal is to MOVE three days a week. It doesn’t sound like much but this time of year is so tough on me in the exercise department!

I got my 3 miles in for the day on Day 1 and did 20 min of stretching and challenge for Day 2.

Ran 2 miles and did some back & bicep strength work and 20 min of stretching. Also managed to hurt my knee :(. So today (Sunday) is going to be rest and frozen peas.

Saturdays are normally rest days for me but I went to the gym in the morning and didn’t stop moving since! I “walked” 11,850 steps (5.06mi) yesterday! It’s a 8-10mi run on Sunday so I’m looking forward to that! Good luck on your marathon!

My dad had surgery this morning to remove a tumor so I walked a mile today instead. I was lucky I got that done today with everything going on. My goal is 60 miles so I have a few weeks to catch up.

I headed to the gym this morning for a sweaty 60 mins on the arc trainer.
Walked around my husband’s college campus today for a pretty solid 30 minutes, and with all the hills here, counting it as my cardio!

woohoo! i ran 7 miles today which is the longest i’ve run since my marathon 2 weeks ago. i had it in my head that i wanted to do 8, but just wasn’t feeling it so i cut it short and stretched for a while (my goal is stretching after every run!)

i am doing my best not to run for the next few days as I have a hip reflexor issue. But I did some circuit workouts and lots of stretching 🙂

Today and tomorrow am getting my stuff together. Temperatures in Chicago dropped steeply yesterday and today so I don’t shock my lungs into submission with the freezing cold air (I’ll probably try and go for a quick run tomorrow). Stocking fridge and such as well and scheduling my work next week is also key.

Accidentally checked the Orlando weather this morning (was there on vacation last week) instead of the Toronto weather. So managed to get through a chilly 2.5 miles in the snow before calling it quits!
Man- seeing all these high mile numbers, y’all are killing it! I lost all motivation to run so I thought I would do an easier mileage for myself, by starting with doing 50 miles for the month. So today was the first day out there… and I did… 1.3 miles!! Just a little run around the neighborhood.

Today is an off day… Such a lame way to start this challenge! but tomorrow I will run 7 miles and my legs are sore from the gym this week, so rest is in order : )
I started the challenge by taking a day off. I either popped a rib or tweaked a muscle during a coughing fit a couple weeks ago, and it needs a break!

Day 1: My goal is to do 60 minutes of activity 5days/week and today I did a 20-minute Cardio HIIT workout, 10 minutes of aerobic dance videos, Ab Ripper X for 20 minutes, followed by a 10 minute stretch/cool-down!

I’m weak. It is cold and snowy in Kentucky so I am not going to get a run in today. This cold weather came too soon and I was not mentally prepared for it. I promise I will make it up tomorrow.
Well… this didn’t start well for me! Planned to run this morning but woke up with a migraine 🙁 definitely no running today but I’ll try to switch it to tomorrow!
Completed day 3 of the C25K program. Man it was cold! To keep my mind off it I played a rousing game of “identify that animal crap.” I’m pretty sure there was a bear nearby…. Run/walk 30 min
Ran a half marathon and got an amazing PR. I feel like I’m winning at POTM AND life right now haha 🙂

Ok I commented on the previous post because I wasn’t really sure where to leave it but my goal is to move more 4 days a week…so today I took my dog for a longer than normal walk, even though it’s rainy and only 39deg out. For me, that is a success.
