Hello! Welcome to a fresh start! It’s week two of Pile on the Miles and another chance for you to attack the crap out of your goal!!!

Are you ready?!

First let me tell you about my Saturday… because some days RER doubles as a random lifestyle blog and because I took this picture in public and people looked at me like I was a weirdo so I might as well put it in a post:

SoCal is GORGEOUS right now. Blue skies… 88 degrees…lalaland and I love it.

I’m wearing maxi-dresses non-stop until it gets too cold!

I am very proud of you for staying so accountable so far. I know it’s not easy to write…

“Ah! I slept in, but I’ll do Jillian’s 30 Day Shred after work…”

or “I ate 22 donuts yesterday, but I will try and wiggle my toes for 5 minutes to get in a workout later.”

    Goal for week #2: Run 5 days this week with a long run of 5 miles this weekend.. Also I am dying to get to the gym in the AM for some strength training.. if I can make it happen at least ONCE this week I’ll be proud of myself.. Need some #motivation

    My goal is to make it to crossfit all 3 of my planned days this week- and to bundle up for a long run in the freezing cold MO weather this weekend.

    I finally don’t feel like someone rabbit kicked me in the belly button, but we had an ice/sleet storm overnight…. This week I am going to run 3 times and hopefully get my trainer set up in the basement so I can ride indoors 2 nights this week!

    6 miles this morning, 4 miles with a good friend and conversation and 2 faster paced miles. Legs still not recovered from my race this past weekend. Time to see if chocolate will help.

    My goal is to workout for at least 45 minutes 6 days this week. Ideally I would love to do 6 days of running but I have an injured hip at the moment so will just have to see how it holds up.

    I ran a half marathon on Saturday that I was completely unprepared for. Since I’m still sore all over, I’ll probably take it easy most of this week. But I’m making a point to walk the dog at least 30 mins daily so I’m not a total couch bum.

    I fell way short of my goal for last week, so my goal for this week is to walk or jog at least two miles every day this week.

    Goal for the week is to hit 10,000 steps every day, to do morning boot camp 3 times, and to cover 20 miles running. 1 boot camp session down this morning at 6am… hard, early, worth it.

    10 miles down, hoping to whittle away at my goal and work out 3 times this week. Last week had me working 14 hours a day and going to a wedding :P. Glad I’ve gotten any mileage in at all.

    I keep forgetting to check in on the weekends! They are so jam-packed! Saturday I raked leaves for 3 hours (oh fall) and Sunday I did a 5K followed by 8 miles. It was gorgeous!

    I think I’m dealing with another strained piriformis, so I’m not sure how much running I’ll be doing. But, I bought a yoga for runners for beginners type DVD that should be here tomorrow, so I’m going to aim for 4 workouts, whether it’s running or yoga. I can do that!

    Was going to the gym this morning at 6:00, but got derailed by the dog. She woke me at 3;30 and after letting her out, I had to clean the carpet!

    My goal is to run 25 miles total with a long run on Sunday – 10-11 miles. It’s kind of low(er than usual), but I’m doing a spin class twice a week, so I want to be realistic.

    I think I am going to try to ease back into running. Pain seems to be gone, but got a bit aggravated this weekend when I worked my leg too hard. Maybe run/walk? I’ll be happy if I can run 5 miles total this week.

    Planning on getting in 3 runs. One tempo one stead and one LSD. it is freezing and expected to be -20 degrees this week so it will be a challenge to get it done but will make it all the more worth it when I’m done

    I’m hoping to run about 20 miles this week, but my bigger goal is to FINALLY make it to 5:45 a.m. spin class tomorrow a.m. I haven’t been to spin since I started working longer hours last month, and miss it like crazy, but getting in the car at 5:30 a.m. to head to the gym seems so incomprehensible :/

    My goal for this week is to run 4 days and do stength training on one day… And stay warm while doing it! The high on Wednesday is 32 degrees.. Yikes! Today i did a 1 mile dog walk and ate frozen custard. I’m getting into gear for tomorrow 🙂

    My goal is to continue PiYo 6 days per week and swimming 3 days per week. Doing some low impact activities until it’s time to start training for my first marathon. Started off right today with PiYO Hardcore on the Floor and a 30 minute swim with my 7 yr old.

    Winter storm warning tonight – they say 6 to 10 inches of snow. Which means I just got back from probably my last trail run of the year. 7.5 miles. Weekly goal: run three days. One down, but I’m working 12.5 hour nights so the last two runs will be squeezed in at the end of the week.
