Hello! Happy Tuesday! And Happy week 3 of Pile on the Miles!! How’s it going? I stalled on my run because it was so windy and more importantly, I was lazy. But finally bit the bullet and went for it. Yesterday was my first run since the marathon that felt good. I need that!
That Palm Springs air must have been good for me! It was definitely good for my soul.

I spend a little quality time with my cat Vegas before hitting the pavement this morning. He’s my only friend.

Run – today I did 1 mile warm up, 3 speedy and a cool down.
I feel like I’m finally back to myself a little bit= Okay runner. Redhead. Hungry. Thinks she’s funny. Likes dogs and cats. Hungry. Blogger.

Post run fuel was random… leftover yogurt with nuts and cereal. Then, a salad.

I also made a skinny pumpkin pie. I like eating pie warm – anyone else??

I’m failing to check in most of the time, but I am not failing to succeed in my goals 🙂
I did a speed workout last night. It was only 40 minutes but I was worked out for sure. I am super disciplined to do long runs without much coaxing but oh man, a short speed workout is really hard for me.
Basically, I’m thrilled with myself for finally doing it!!!
Physio exercises done and I parked on the other side of the village I needed to be to get a couple of shorter walks in (in the rain).
Strength training with my trainer this morning – legs day!
An easy 3.5 miles Monday and rest day Tuesday (mostly because the day was filled with house buying prep work).
2 mile walk, spinning class, kettle bell class. fun, fun night! and hard.
Almost 12000 steps already today!
Completed a 2.5 mile walk today and a quick HIIT workout. Keep on keeping on everyone! 🙂
I mile hilly power walk to help tip my step count over 10K. I missed my 15K step goal for the challenge but I’m not letting that get me done. Striving to do some activity everyday! On a roll since last Thursday!

Today was yoga and errands. Don’t tell me that errands aren’t a workout because they definitely leave me feeling exhausted.
POTM-rest day
I did three miles today but it felt hard. Boo to that!
I got in a 3 mile walk today! I’m still having trouble with my foot, so I can’t run very much.
Bummed my insanity class was canceled so trying to do an at home workout.
Didn’t get in a run this week yet, but reached my step goal both today and yesterday (nearly 20,000 steps yesterday!) 🙂

40 Minute walk on the treadmill and lots of errands needed to be done.
Was on vacation in Israel last week and thought I would go running more than I did so I’m worried I won’t hit my November mileage goal. BUT I did 5 yesterday and 3 today so I’m not going to give up!
I overslept today, but I still made it out to run. Just cut it short a bit. Yay me! Run 1 of 3 for the week is done!
I got in a 3.5 mile run today. Not fast, but it’s done. 🙂
100% rain outside today, so I hit the treadmill. It was a good opportunity to do some speed work. Knocked out 10×400. Like all speed work, it nearly killed me, but I made it.

I have a busy afternoon, but I am feeling super motivated today and don’t want it to go to waste!! I think I’ll do a speed treadmill workout late tonight.
Upper body weights and cross training today
6 miles + strength training/stretch/foam roll/eateateat.
60 minutes elliptical, teaching PE all day (usually around 15,000 steps)…and then couch!
30 mins on the treadmill followed by some planks.
Today I’m doing a 5.5 mile tempo run. Tomorrow I head off to Denver. I hope it won’t mess up my workout schedule!

I’m going to try a new workout tonight called RIPPED. Each letter stands for something, but I forget right now. Also want to do a quick treadmill run. I have a busy week ahead, but I’m trying to work in my workouts.

3 miles on the elliptical before work today. My job and my evening laziness often get in the way of my fitness goals, but I’m determined to get my miles in during the mornings!
Crossfit! First we worked on split jerks, then: 5 rounds: 500m run, 25 burpees, 20 alternating dumbbell power snatch. 32 minute time cap. I completed 4 rounds plus the 5th round’s run.
Nothing on the calendar to mess with my yoga today, except work. Might have to wait to do yoga at home. Also started a push up challenge, with counter pushups.

I’m hitting the spin bike tonight for a much needed sweat session. I have been sick and finally feel like i’m back on my feet.
Early this morning I ran 3…windy miles. Just finished my 1st strength workout of the week!

3 mile walk yesterday and cycle/kettlebell class at the gym today. I was unbelievably hungry yesterday and (for the most part) made healthy choices…until I got home and broke into the fudge. 🙁
Today is crossfit. I also want to up my steps since I have been seriously slacking on that lately. My goal is to get 10,000 steps today which means I need to move a whole lot more 🙂
I got in another 5:30 Tabata work out this morning!!! I love the morning workouts so it does not interfere with my busy week!

I took a rest day yesterday after a combined 9 miles on Sunday. I was back at it this morning with 4.5 mikes om the treadmil.
20 minute strength workout, 2 mile run, and plank work—my run was shortened, but hey, it’s two miles! 🙂
Ran about 3.75 miles on the treadmill this morning. Heading to California for a family wedding later this week, which might make staying active a little tough, but hoping to go for at least one run while I’m there!
I have a few late meetings this week and a very active one year old, but I am determined to get at least 4 runs in this week!
My workout today is gonna be a run with my club, and maybe ab circuits if I can be bothered. (I hate ab circuits tho lol!)

Today is my busiest work day of the year but I got up to run at 6 and I’m hoping to hit the gym tonight…if I’m still coherent by then. ;-

a couple of hours of mma practice today! day 2/5 workouts done, and my other goal–to get myself to a yoga class… has not happened yet. 🙁 but it will!
