Hello! Happy Monday!!

Did anyone over sleep?

crazy hair dont care

Sadly, I woke up at 3am again today. I’m going to have to start taking naps or I’ll never survive life at this point.

Luckily I had a good run and a good eat after that ridic wake up call…

breakfast (600x800)

Even better than that was the fro-yo I had yesterday. So good. It made me happy.

best part of the weekend (600x800)

In addition to fro-yo, I filled the hole in my tiny black heart with quality dog time. It was nice.

And just call me Cesar Milan because I trained both dogs how to lick their nose at the same time! Impressive, right?!

ProCompression Discount and Review

A few weeks ago my friends at ProCompression sent me a pair of their new leggings to review. These have been in the works for a long time and I have the inside scoop that the company was on a mission to find quality, comfortable and non-see through material for the pants.

Well, they did it right. Because these are flattering, comfy and don’t go transparent when you’re in down dog. (Don’t ask me how I know, but it might involve a mat, camera timer, flash and angles of my body no one wants to see.)

procompression leggins review (600x800)

My favorite part is the wide band on the bottom and around the waist. Super flattering and stays put when you move. This part can be folded up to show a cute cuff too.

Can you tell me how these ran in terms of sizing for you runeatrepeat? I see a couple of other comments on sizing as well. I am generally a medium in workout gear and an 8 in jeans like Tara and was also considering the size 6 in these leggings. I hate anything super tight in the waist though so I wasn’t sure if this would be the route to go. Hip measurement definitely falls under the 6, waist is borderline. Any advice?

I just went to check and cut off the tag! I am pretty sure I got an 8, but I normally wear a 10 in jeans.

I woke up at 5:30 this morning. I only have one more day at my current job, and then I’ll be temporarily retired for a bit! 🙂

I love those leggings! I have done several long runs in them and they are a new favorite. I haven’t gone to such extremes to check if they are see-through ;), but they are such nice material that I haven’t worried about it at all.

My usual wake-up time to make it to the gym to train people is 5 a.m., but I was able to sleep until 7 a.m. today, and it felt great!

I have to get up at 3 sometimes when I work the early shift. Definitely not fun at around 2pm. Most days I get up at 6 though with an alarm or without my body just doesn’t like sleeping any later.

I woke up at 5:45, I actually got out of bed at 6:05. I really need to quit doing that, then it’s always a rush to get out the door! I hate that panicked feeling when you wake up thinking you’re late for something. I think its worse when you’re not actually late for anything because then you have to wait for your heart rate to come down before you can go back to bed!

I got a pair, and although I did not notice that they are see through (I did do a squat check in the mirror-yes, yes, I did!) however, after my first wear- (6 mile run ), I noticed the stitching in the inner thigh/crotch area had all loosened up and were hanging. Boo!

As for size, I normally wear a size M in workout pants/shorts, I am a size 8 jeans and got a size 6(M) in the compression pants. They fit great. I was worried that an 8/large would be too loose on me when running.

Thank you for your input Tara! I just looked at the sizing chart on the pro compression sight and am going 1 size smaller than i normally do (I’m a size 8 most of the time) since it looks like they run a little bit.

Just an update on my leggings. I wore them for a second time yesterday (8 miles) and when I got home, I checked to see if the stitching in the crotch area was loose again. It was not, but what I did notice was a hole in the pants. Whaaa! I am dumbfounded by this, I really though these were high quality pants.
I did email customer service, and they agreed this was not normal wear for the quality they use. They were kind enough to offer to send me a new pair.

Anyone else have any similar problems with these pants?

I’m interested to hear that your PC leggings aren’t see through in down dog… because the ones I just received in the mail over the weekend definitely are! 🙁 Bummer, because I really liked the material & wide cuff at the bottom, but I have to send them back.

I just can’t justify keeping them because I KNOW at some point I would forget & wear them to yoga & then in the middle of class remember & be mortified.

Oh, glad it wasn’t just me! I love the leggings, I even bought a second pair because I loved them so much. I found out after wearing them that they were see through…my boyfriend informed me of the fact when I squatted down to feed the dogs. I hope the couple at the part was entertained when I stopped to stretch during my run earlier.

Everyone keeps raving about them. I still think they are almost identical to LLL, but they are definitely see through. 🙁

Would you mind sharing what size you’re wearing vs. what size regular clothes you usually wear? I end up wearing like a 12 jean, a 10 shorts and all my running bottoms are XL’s because of this booty i got.
