Random Stir Frys Dot Com

Dinner

18 Aug

I had a serious craving for cooked bell peppers and onions for dinner. That’s really all I wanted, but since I’m now a practicing member of the Church of Protein I added 2 chicken burgers and 2 veggie burgers to the mix too. IMG_7806 (800x533)

Yeah 2 of each – I’m not only a follower of the Church of Protein I’m also the new leader of their cult. IMG_7807 (800x533)

But, I have some scary news… Ben came home very sick and we were making out like teenagers last night. So, now I’m very worried that I’m going to get sick on my flights tomorrow. I’m in a plane all day and if I get what Ben has I’ll have to be very near a restroom at all times (sorry Captain I don’t care what your seat belt sign says – I gotta go).

So, I’m sucking down Amazing Grass and hoping for the best.IMG_7809 (533x800)

I’m all packed up and ready to leave for Philly tomorrow! You can see the bed is all messed up in the background. Ben went to sleep around my suitcase when he got home. Yes, came home early and took a nap. That’s out of character and makes me nervous.IMG_7812 (800x533)

Vegas isn’t sick, he’s just a cat.IMG_7813 (800x533)

I gotta go take some pepto. See ya later.

Oh man, I was in Thailand and I got food poisoning from some seafood. It was horrible! But it passed in a day…travelling with sickness is the worst.

<3 pepper, onion and broccoli bowls with veg burgers! I had a very similar bowl last night.

The Amazing Grass was a good idea I think AND the Imodium haha. I hope you get through the weekend wthout getting sick!

ACK! I hate it when I am not sure if I will be sick or not – it’s the WORST FEELING EVER.

and Vegas reminds me so much of my Enzo – hugging the bed and all! Such a cutie 🙂

Oh no! Maybe it was something he ate and not a flu-like thing? Then you wouldn’t have to worry about it being contagious. Whatever it is, I hope Ben feels better and that you have super immunity to keep you from getting sick.

I really hope you don’t catch it! Hopefully it was something he ate and not something you did!

My fingers are crossed for you that you don’t get sick. It sucks to travel when you’re not feeling good. Hydration is key!

Dramamine will help with vomiting and the stomach flu too. I hope you feel better in the morning!

Love the photo and caption of the cat, lol.

Yikes! I hope you don’t get sick 🙁 Is it the stomach flu? I get colds pretty often, but the stomach flu is the worst. There’s nothing quite like that feeling when you wake up in the middle of the night and realize you’re about to throw up everywhere…

Healthy vibes! Hopefully it was something he ate- take some Immodium (if that’s the issue) before you get on the plane to be safe maybe?
