I got a foam roller!!! I haven’t used it yet, but I’m about to 🙂 I am full on going to have to take this as a third carry-on on the trip back to MD (I hope they don’t give me the business).

I made a couscous salad to go with the guacamole (which I consider the main course!). It was whole wheat couscous with beans, corn, onions, garlic, S&P, vinegar, maple syrup and a bit of salsa.

I ate it up with chips and guac of course!

But, unlike the guac, I plated the couscous and salad. I’m trying to be better about being a lady and eating my food from a plate versus over the stove (even though there was a lot of that).

Dessert was some chocolate chips 🙂 I just realized I ate an ice cream after dinner last night and wanted to point it out for accountability’s sake. Boo.bs.

Now I’ve gotta get rollin’!

    I love my foam roller. It saved me last summer when my quad was so tight I couldn’t run for 3 weeks. I got the foam roller and rolled out all the knots. Good as new!

    Love cous cous, so fluffy and light tasting 🙂 I wish I had a foam roller 🙁 my big old mat isn’t very portable!!

    How have you run a marathon and NOT foam rolled? I die without mine and I only run about 3 mi/week on average!
    I couldn’t tell how long yours is and you may not want to do it with a new foam roller, but I cut mine in half just so I can pack it in my suitcase. I only need enough to roll one thigh and mine was three times as wide. It’s also much easier to maneuver on now.

    Sounds like a great dinner and I am proud of you for coming clean about the ice cream!! I know that ice cream was one of the things that used to trigger binges when I was in my bulimic stage of my eating disorder!! I hope you have a great weekend in California, it sounds absolutely beautiful out there!! It is snowing and freezing cold where I live!! Booo! 🙁
