Still weird to write 2009 for me, I am living in the past people.

Today I did 4 miles on my own and walk/ran 2 with the BF. He wanted to run this morning, which doesn’t happen often, so I welcomed it. I don’t know how much I was actually supposed to do per my marathon training plan since I am so rebellious and irresponsible for some reason right now.

    Hi Monica—just came across your blog site. Good luck on the marathon. Make sure you wear a shirt with your name on it. I made the mistake of not doing this for my first marathon….it’s so disappointing hearing the crowd cheer for everyone else (who did this) and not cheer for you! For my subsequent marathons, I wear a bright orange shirt that has “GO FISH” printed across it on big, black letters. The catchier phrase on your shirt, the more the crowd will cheer you on! For my Chicago marathon, I could hear people cheering my name for all 26.2 miles. It definitely helps with the mental endurance! Good luck!
