It was sprinkling this morning, but just barely so I decided to go for it and run. Well, of course it started to rain harder while I was out, but I was already wet so I did 5 miles and went home.
I am not used to this much rain. What is the deal? According to weather.com it’s going to run Christmas Eve and Christmas too. Boo to that. As long as it doesn’t rain the 26th I am okay though. I am planning on getting one last good run in before my trip to Florida.
I am sooo looking forward to the warm weather in FL! It looks like it will be around 75 to 80 degrees for my visit 🙂 Woo-woo. I am going to try and get in a couple of good runs while I’m there and I’ll keep you posted. I can’t afford to bail on my training so close to the race!
Actually, I have been getting used to running in the cold. I remember reading an article that said runners do best in around 55 degree weather. Anything higher or lower increases their time. I know it’s different for every body, but I think I agree with that. I normally freeze in 55 degrees – that is super cold! But, I have great runs around that temp. I warm up very fast though and sweat A LOT A LOT (no, seriously a lot).
