Today was a rest day (after a long run yesterday). I walked for about 4 miles and stretched out a little.

So the Pile on the Miles challenge is over! In case you forgot Bobbi organized this challenge from Nov 8th through Nov. 30th. Whoever “Piles On The most Miles” in that time wins. She has a great goody bag for the winner and I really hope I win. I wanted to run a few miles today to give me a little extra for the win, but I really shouldn’t, so I decided against it. I would be devastated if I got injured before my first Marathon 🙁 I have had ankle injuries before and my knee has been bothering me on long runs so, I really don’t want to chance it. I really believe in the importance of rest days.

My final tally is 131.38 miles. I am happy with that, but I think I could have busted out some longer midweek runs if I had more time before work in the am. She is announcing the winner tomorrow so I’ll let you know if I win!
