My foot was still hurting this morning so I decided to do a Spin class instead of run. Actually the choice was basically made for me because it was pouring this morning! I don’t mind running in the rain, but it was serious heavy rain. I have ran with back spasms and strep throat in the past, so I wouldn’t have put it past myself to run with a hurt foot. I think this shows a new level a maturity. I know running with an injury will only make it worse. If I want to get better I have to stay off of it. In the meantime I can find alternative forms of exercise so I can stay healthy and feel good.
I have a doctor’s appointment for tomorrow morning. Hopefully, they will tell me what is wrong with my foot and how to fix it. I suspect it is Peroneal Tendonitis, but I need to talk with a doctor to know for sure and also to learn how to fix it! Whatever it is, I hope I can get back to running soon! Wish me luck!
