Hello! I’m still in Florida, but today is a rest day so I took a long walk to Dunkin Donuts for an iced coffee. Luckily I brought along an umbrella for some shade because it ended up pouring for a little bit during my 5 mile walk. I really like walking and kinda think it’s the best exercise. Anyone else?
First Site Guide made me this cartoon Monican. Ha!
Okay. I have been contacted lately by A LOT of companies offering discount codes and opportunities to my readers. So here is a round up of all the recent offers… Enjoy!

Parking for San Francisco Marathon Discount!
Parking in San Francisco can often be a stressful task, especially on race day. Tell your audience to save time and money, upwards to 70% off the drive-up rate in some cases! In fact, we’d like to offer your readers 15% off their online reservation!
All your readers have to do is use the promo code: SFMARATHON when booking San Fran parking. To book, click here.
Your readers should be able to book parking (starting yesterday) until July 27 (end of the marathon). Booking is a 10 mile radius from 515 Mason Street, San Francisco (one of our garages closest to the Fort Mason Center); so all available parking garages within Parking Panda’s inventory. I’ve been looking and a lot of them are filling up, so booking before you get there will be good!

I totally agree, walking is the BEST! I love listening to podcasts and just zoning out and walking 🙂
Sara says
Yes to walking! I don’t understand when people say it isn’t exercise. I mean honestly, it’s better than being a lazy bones sitting on the couch all afternoon. It’s my favorite kind of exercise. Yay 🙂

Parking in San Francisco is ALWAYS a nightmare, let alone on race day!
Allie says
Hey Monica! Are you running the SF Marathon?
runeatrepeat says
No, I just wanted to pass on the parking info 🙂
Megan @ Skinny Fitalicious says
I’m lad you said you like walking because I’m a big fan too. Unfortunately, I’ve seen a lot of walker shaming across social media lately. That makes me really sad because no everyone is physically able to run and walking really is just a slow run.
runeatrepeat says
I lost weight initially from walking not running. And it’s the best way to catch up with friends (am I the only one that can’t run and talk).
Alice says
I definitely cannot run and talk – but I love to walk and catch up with friends! Hope you’re enjoying FL!
Amanda - RunToTheFinish says
welcome back to FL…home of the humid running that never ends. I’m a big fan of a great walk too. Hope you’re having a good trip.
