So little time…

My post is super late today because I’m trying to do 748 things at a time! I have been very busy with work and now am adding more to my plate.

Currently I am:

– working full time

– planning a wedding for June

– blogging

– house hunting

– applying to grad schools

– looking for new opportunities

– freelance work

And I’m pretty close to a nervous breakdown. So, this post is going to be short and sweet. I have a big project I’m working on (not for my full time position) that is a big priority right now and I have to get on it!

Pre-run – cerealdscn7435

Run – a couple of hills thrown in with 5 slow miles.

Breakfast – Strawberry/banana/oats/AM/Barney Butter/fiber one/wheat berries/brown sugar. It was delicious, but the strawberries added liquid to the mix and it took longer to cook and was still watery.dscn7444

I was hungry mid-morning and tried to just drink water and ignore it, but the IE book says if you’re hungry you should eat (and NOT cut back on food later as punishment – this is a revelation to me). So, I had a bite of Matt’s eggs I made him and decided to make some egg whites for myself.dscn7446

dscn7452Lunch – big salad. I like to eat a lot of veggies with lunch so if I skip them at dinner I don’t feel bad, ha!

dscn74561And open faced sammies and an apple. One piece of bread with broiled cheese and the other with TJ’s egg white salad.

Now I am very full and very stressed with all the work I have to do!

what are you applying for? everything on your list is stuff you WANT to be doing right? i think small rewards along the way to accomplishing everything can def be effective! i agree with the other comments, find some chill time, i think you do that with your walks tho! 🙂

Wow…you’re superbusy. Try to take a nice bath or something to relax. When I was in the insane mode of law school, I tried to reward myself whenever I could. Going to the bathroom became one of the highlights of my day! I could put down the textbooks and read a fun book. As a result, I used to drink A LOT of water on long study days. 🙂

    Good luck with everything.

WOWEEE! That is a big list, but NO SWEAT! You can only do the best you can do in each moment. You have to remember that your runs are so important for this reason, or yoga, or whatever it be: YOU NEED YOU TIME. <333

You’ll be good. Just remember. Do the best you can, and that is ALWAYS plenty 🙂

Shoot, girl, that’s a lot. Add one more thing to your list – “you” time (or for you, that would be “me” time) 🙂

Just 5 mins here and there!
