I made half an hour oats while I took a walk on the treadmill this morning. I tried to run for a few minutes, but stopped as soon as my knee hurt which was five minutes in 🙁

Pumpkin Overnight 30 Minute Oats:

In the mix… Pumpkin, greek yogurt, oats, stevia, spices, soy milk. Let set for 30 minutes. Top with blubes! Enjoy 🙂

I’m off to my MRI, but for now I will leave you with the definition of “Monica Olivas” from Urban Dictionary. The site said they wouldn’t approve personal names, so I did this as a joke and then they approved it?! HA! Now I kinda regret submitting it… I blame my BFF who told me what to write… There is even a typo – who approved it?

      Sometimes when I’m too sore to run, I swim instead. Swimming is nice because there’s no pain once you get in the pool! (And of course, the hot tub afterward!)

      Hey Monica!

      I’m your blog-follower and enjoy your posts very much!
      I have a question regarding a injury you mentioned a few posts ago, you said you had tendonitis, how bad was it?
      I think I have it, though it’s much better than it used to be a few weeks ago, it was by my achillies and it would get swollen when I jumped/ran or otherwise did any exercise which was high impact on my ankles.

      Anyway, I don’t like going to doctors and self-diagnosis was possible through Google (I know it’s not great) and have rested but worked out and iced and ibuprofen-ed my injury, but it still sometimes plays up a bit when I go for a run.

      How long did it take you until it was completely gone? Do you have any other tips other than medication and icing? I try and stretch but I don’t do anything special, just a normal calf stretch.

      Sorry, long post…

      To the Urban dictionary thing, I don’t know if it still works like that but years ago, you could just register yourself and approve definitions, I did that when I was bored lol.
