Hello!!! How’s it going? I’m having a little bit of a frustrating day because it’s raining outside and is supposed to keep raining ALL DAY and I’m going stir crazy. I’m not in Kansas anymore. I mean, California. What is up with all this water falling from the sky??!?!

Yesterday I was able to get in a good, but slow 10 mile run to the beach. I love running at the beach! It just makes sense.

And I spent the day doing some studying for Integrative Nutrition and hanging out with Ben’s family.

Oh, and all their pets! It’s like a zoo here Smile

Since it’s raining today I kept my workout inside and went up and down the stairs for 30 minutes. I alternated two stairs at a time with a leg extension and going up sideways. It felt good to switch it up!

Breakfast was egg whites… well, it was egg whites until I saw that Ben’s mom made an epic quiche.

We took a trip to the store where I talked myself out of getting these. Mostly, because I don’t believe in sharing…

Now I’m sipping iced coffee, listening to the rain and talking to you nice people.

It’s the exact same as yours. 😉 Don’t ya love Manasota Beach? I never run there though because of the lack of sidewalks on some of the streets I have to take to get there. I just stay around Dearborn.

Love the gorilla at the top of the stairs. Classic.

hot and sunny here in NYC but the humidity is fairly low. I was able to run 7 miles and feel human again.
      Love your stair workout idea.

It was pretty cool this morning but it’s about 80 and clear now. I actually enjoy running in the rain when it is dark and no one is out. One reason is because I feel like no one else wants to get out there and I love running more than those in bed… I lie to myself at times. The other reason is because for some reason I usually feel fresher in the rain. I don’t remember ever having a low energy workout in the rain.

Girl, good for you for getting your workout in even when it was rainy and crappy outside. That is dedication. Also that quiche looks amazing.

It’s sunny and gorgeous in Boston, though a little too warm for my liking since it is September after all. But I’ll take it, since I have a feeling this winter I’ll be missing this weather.

I’d get so bored going up and down one staircase, way to get it done even on a rainy day.

Same weather here because I live in Tampa. We’re having such a rainy summer! I’m pretty over it, haha.
