Taking A Day

Between going back to work full time in May

and trying to keep up blogging and the gym

and going to Florida this weekend

and spending time with my fam

and Ben’s birthday this week…

I feel like I’ve been go-go-go, but haven’t been enjoying any of it. The end of the year is going to be here in no time and I need a second to slow down.image

So, I’m taking the night off to reflect and reprioritize. IMG_7300 (800x600)

See you tomorrow Smile

And even as you write about how you’ve been so busy and overwhelmed and are taking a much-needed night off, you go make Janae and Billy’s night by ordering them dinner because they have their hands full, as well. That was incredibly thoughtful and proof at how beautiful the blog-world can be! Hell, I’M touched and I didn’t even get pizza! 🙂 Good on you, Monica, I hope you enjoyed your night off!

Good for you! All you need now is a beer, hammock, and some tunes. Enjoy your day!

Good for you! Personal care time is SO important and is just as important in healthy living as eating right and exercising. I hope it’s been restful and I really admire your ability to prioritize yourself!

Sit down and enjoy a cuppa or maybe vino!

Good for you…take a breather and just let yourself “be” without feeling like you have to be doing something. Doing nothing and having time for yourself to be alone with your thoughts is just as important to healthy living as exercise and diet in my opinion 😉

What a sound decision. Taking your time for things that really count. Doing less but with more heart in it.

I didn’t realize how time consuming fitting blogging into your schedule could be! I can’t imagine trying to keep up with one as busy as yours. Enjoy your night off 🙂

You deserve a night off! Take care of yourself, slow down, and enjoy…. (now I just need to do the same!)

Sometimes life gets crazy and miserable. I always step back and remind myself to look at the bright side of things and remain positive. It also helps me enjoy things that I don’t necessarily like doing but know I have to do. Relaxation is one more key to this lock of balance.
