I feel like this week has flown ran by! Do you?
Apparently, I spent a lot of time on the couch yesterday! Guilty. First it was to ice.
Then, Vegas crawled on my lap while I was messing around on the lapper/watching TV. I’m not usually his person, but my roommate was out late and I was second runner up.
Have you had a See’s Candy Chocolate Sucker? Because they are amazing – super chocolate-y and last a long time. TWSS.
Breakfast was a two-parter…
First some cereal.

Then, a walk.
And finally eggs.


I had a meeting this morning and couldn’t make it to my planned yoga class. But I am on a mission to stay true to my word and do yoga once a week at least.
I went to do my usual Online Yoga For Runners, but it was acting weird and wouldn’t play. A quick YouTube search later I found this “A Deep Release for the Hips, Hamstrings and Lower Back Yoga”. Personally, I don’t consider this yoga – it’s stretching inspired by yoga. It’s not a workout or a strength session (unlike some yoga classes).
I figured I’d stop the video if I was bored (per usual). But the stretch was so good I did the whole thing.
It is the BEST HIP STRETCH SESSION OF MY LIFE!!!! If you have tight legs DO THIS.
Question: Have you tried a See’s Candy lollipop yet?

I had a race this morning, so this video was heaven for my achy hips and hammys. Thanks for sharing–it’s a keeper.
Monica – Is that Ketchup or Siracha Sauce on your eggs ? I always wonder LOL … BTW they look delish.
It’s both! I put Sriracha first and then ketchup to garnish 🙂

my dad orders me See’s candy every year for Christmas (we don’t have a store nearby – they send him like 20 catalogs a year). Best chocolate, hands down!

I have a new love for hip stretches. Apparently they are the current body part that likes to cause problems for me. And I agree, breakfast food is the best food.
Gotta check it out when I get home! YouTube is banned in the office. 🙁
I am going to have to bookmark this – this will be great once I get back into full on training!

Hi, every time i used to check website posts here in the early hours in the
daylight, since i enjoy to find out more and more.
Going to do this first thing in the morning! My legs have been so tight and it has been driving me bonkers! I have never even tried See’s candy, I know, I know.
He also has a GREAT full body seated hatha. Just like you described, not a “work out” but SUCH a good full body stretch!
I think you just saved the life of my hammies & hips. super duper tight. I made it almost 30 min. will repeat for sure. seriously, thank you so much.

Wow, 47 minutes! I’m not sure I can sit still that long! But my hips are tight. And they don’t lie.
I use this video all the time! After a vicious lingering hamstring injury my physical therapist recommended it. Save me!
Yeah! I’m glad to get a second opinion on it, because I was surprised I liked it so much.
