The Top 4 Things I was Looking Forward to Coming Home to…

My Life

2 Jun

Hello! Thank you so much for sitting through an entire episode of RER based on my armpit hair. I am the worst, but you have already been warned, so I’m not going to worry about it. Today I’m finally getting back into the swing of life after vacation. I’ve been super productive on blog projects, similar to how I imagine someone feels after a win at a casino not on gamstop — energized and ready to take on more challenges. Last night was a mix of productivity and relaxation; I cleaned while catching up on trash TV. It’s good to be back and I’m ready to dive into more content for you all, maybe even share some insights on navigating the online casino world!

So I want to share the top 4 things I was looking forward to coming home to…

1. My own weird food. This includes: copious amounts of Peanut Butter, Sriracha, avocado,  roasted broccoli and random things I impulse buy at Trader Joe’s and eat on the way home. This new-to-me Crispy Crunchy Broccoli snack is a solid example. They are good and I ate them, but I prefer roasted broccoli covered in salt and ketchup.

2. Running my favorite path in perfect SoCal crisp mornings.

This morning I was sporting some new running shorts from 90 Degrees. They are longer than most and crawled up a little bit, but I’m a fan. I got them at Marshall’s but you can also find them at Nordstrom Rack.

3. No judging looks during lunch when I make MASSIVE weird salads. Sometimes you end up sitting with strangers in the buffet dining room if the tables are pretty full and they have room on their table.

One time someone said, “THAT is a salad!” Ha! Made me proud.

Oh wait, I still get those judge-y looks…

4. My shows! Reality TV is definitely one of my vices and I was looking forward to catching up on Southern Charm most of all! Patricia does not mess around.

They just recently have something that qualifies as a
league for women there. The bookmakers know there are a handful of tactical gamers
out there who will just take benefit, but the rich pickings
for them general make the full physical exercise
worthwhile. They argue that the combination of the two determines success and without either it is not possible to reach the pinnacle of
      your sport.

Kathryn too young and immature and Thomas too self-absorbed. That’s why he’s 50-odd and still single. No woman wants to put up with his crap!

LOVVVVE Southern Charm. I hope to one day be rich and fancy enough to be just like Patricia. I want to have lots of pets and butlers bringing me martinis while I use words like “strumpet”.

I miss my bed. I could spend all day in it, and to many people’s horror, love to watch TV in it. Waking up, getting some cereal and eating it in bed whilst watching e.g. The West Wing – heaven!!

I miss my dog the most probably. No one is that excited to see me every time I leave the house, even if fir five minutes. Plus it is great to have puppy snuggles. I missed my trail while I was traveling for work this week. Felt so good to get back on it today. I also enjoy people not judging me for eating weird things or extremely large quantities

I’m cliche and miss my bed. I also miss almond milk for my coffee – sometimes that is hard to find!

I couldn’t care less about reality tv. I don’t have cable, so it makes it easy.

I love vacations but I do love coming home…..just back to the regular routine (food, exercise classes at the Y, and yes, own bed!)

Usually the joy of being home only last a few days then I am ready to go on another vacation….too bad it didn’t work that way. ;-(

I love 90 degrees. I got them at either Marshalls or TJ Maxx but the tops and pants I found were so great and affordable!

I am so sad Southern Charm is over. I live for everything on BRAVO, so I’m glad that RHOC is coming back on Sundays! I’m hoping you’ve enjoyed the OG Real Housewives since season 1 as much as I did. I die when they have the throwback episodes with Slade and Jo breaking up on a couch.

I thought it was super weird how they ended this season of Southern Charm though with Craig leaving for Delaware. Not quite the same ending as Season 1 with shots of bebe Kenzie!

I always look forward to coming home and seeing my cat ! He’s the best , and he’s just like a dog in most ways. – Your cat looks super cute too – just like – ‘ hey , whats up ! ‘

Other than that a hot shower with non-dribbly water pressure. Ideal .

What do you think of Kathryn? I feel like she really did try to be a good lil homemaker this season and Thomas was just like ‘whatever’ or self involved or something. It seems like they have a volatile relationship, but I do kinda believe he’s still messing around.

I feel the same way. It seemed like he took her for granted this season and eventually she just was like kind of over it. Their relationship seemed pretty dysfunctional to say the least. But Kenzie is the cutest! Did you see the reunion last night? They seem like they’ve gotten even worse 🙁
