Okay. So I’m back from Minneapolis and have finally thawed out! Whew. It was an amazing trip. I love travel blogging and seeing my peeps and eating all the cereal!!

Now I’m chasing a few deadlines, catching up on email and trying to ignore the traces of cat barf on the edge of my comforter.
Related: Cat free to a good home. Or a bad home. Or a shack, just take him.

And now here are the other things I wanted to share about my trip to one half of the twin cities…
Top 10 Reasons I Loved My Visit to the Artic Tundra / General Mills’ HQ / Minneapolis
1. Cinnamon Toast Crunch Coffee. Whaaaaaaat?!

Yes. This was a part of the coffee bar for breakfast. It’s amazing. They served it hot (because it was 1 degree out, hello) but I poured mine over ice.

Check out the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cold Brew Coffee recipe here

2. Lunch was amazing. It was some fancy catered in lunch and I ate it all.

3. Someone asked if they had dairy free options at the cereal bar – YES. Actually they had about 12 milk options including soy, almond, chocolate almond, strawberry and Peanut Butter Milk! It’s just PB and milk blended. Dooooo it.

4. Apparently that guy from the Kardashians used to be an athlete

I think this is me taking a picture of this! Ha!!

5. Cheerios as art:

6. They have walking desks and so I had to try and blog and run and eat at the same time…

7. We had a tour of the photography studio and prop room – they are dreamy.

7. Having people around to help me take pictures so I don’t have to ask my little brother and end up with a bunch of blurry selfies because he was trying to be funny.

8. Meeting other people who take cereal as seriously as I do.

9. Tina showing me pics of Quinn.

10. Dinner the night before was at Travail Kitchen and Amusements in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.

Everything from the cocktails to the appetizers to the presentation of the courses was great!

Lobster roll in a bisque to dip…

Tiny tacos! I love it.

All of it was amazing, but the dessert was extra fun. We drizzled a liquid into dry ice in between courses and it was incorporated into a cereal based dessert!

Cheers!

I’m cheers-ing with Dunkin Donuts coffee — found a “bakery” collection flavor at the store that is scrumptious: old-fashioned donut.
I may have a personal embargo on Cinnamon Toast Crunch at my house. It’s too dangerous to keep around! haha…… 🙂 I L-O-V-E cereal and am eyeing you with green, jealous eyes that you got to go to General Mills!
Coffee, for sure.
I want to have access to that cereal bar!
Sounds like an amazing, albeit cold, trip!
So putting up with 1 degree temps was worth it for all that amazing food?
You got home just in time. We were at -16 here in Minnesota this morning….not counting the windchill 🙂

Love the food prop room- that’s what my foodie picture dreams are made of 🙂
I second the comment on your hair- looks amazing!
The name of this post cracks me up. That photography setup is a food blogger’s dream. I wish I had that stash! I really need that standing desk in my life. I just bought a boss ball chair for the office & love it.
This trip seems so cool! Would love to get to a level where I could do that one day!
I’m “cheers-ing” with some red velvet oreos. It’s been a rough work week.

Coffee. Right at this very moment. I even put a little sugar and cream in it. Not the norm but it’s dessert. 🙂
