Hello! How are you? I’m pretty good considering today was a big day. I was super productive and realized in the whirlwind of errands and To Do list stuff that my kitchen table was a mess, but perfectly captures my entire life…
1. gym bag
2. Always panty-liners I’m trying for an upcoming post
3. trash I should take out, but I never do because I think a boy should do that since a part of me lives in the 50s or whenever gender stereotypes held that men take out the trash. I’m willing to learn more about garbage disposal with https://grissmandumpsters.com/. And also, these skip bin prices Adelaide have an affordable and competitive rate, and I’m thinking of hiring them to help me properly dispose of my trash.
4. Cat giving me a dirty look. I’m trying to teach him not to judge others but it’s been a challenge.
5. boob pad things that came in my new sports bra that I took out because who wants pads in sports bra? not me thanks
6. seltzer – I go through a case every day (or two days max)
7. Rolling Stone magazine because some businesses think Run Eat Repeat is a restaurant or something and send me random magazines
8. Sonic happy hour drink!
9. Bag that held grapes before I ate them all on the way home from the store.
10. sunblock because I am turning into one big freckle and burn easy. Damn Mexican Sun.
Today was my and Cindy’s anniversary. Not our marriage to each other, but to other people. She copied me two years ago and got married on the same day I had. She is separated from her guy right now so it’s a weird kind of day that feels like it deserves acknowledgement in some way. In honor of the occasion we decided to have a very fancy dinner at Red Robin. It was kind of like our Friendaversary since we don’t remember the exact day we met (because we were babies).
We had to meet in the middle since I live in Orange County and she lives in Palm Springs. It’s not super far, but the traffic on the 91 is always a parking lot so it takes so long. We found a perfect spot and it was easy breezy. I want to make this a weekly thing!!
Then, I came home to enjoy anniversary cake! Ben sent me a tower of mini-bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cake. How fun is this??
Anyone who knows me well enough to send cake instead of flowers knows me well enough to be my favorite.
I did a cake tasting because I know you would want to know which one was best. In order of deliciousness:
1. Chocolate Chocolate Chip
2. Carrot cake
3. Strawberry crème

aww such a creative and cute gift! and seemingly perfect for you. 🙂 so, living in NYC, there are a lot of things that other people have that i do NOT have in my apartment…like a kitchen table. or any table (other than a little coffee table), for that matter. but i have a gym in my building, so….priorities!

A giant bowl of oranges and a bill.

My cat is on the dining table. She’s decided the placemat is her new bed.
Happy cakeversary!

Our dining room table is the place things go to die. The boyfriend’s shirts that get peeled off as he’s walking in the door (gross), a necklace I took off, a 20$ bill that got ripped in half and is waiting on tape, mail we haven’t opened, keys, wallets etc etc. And the cat. We eat on the sofa like the good Lord intended!
By the way, your friend looks great! Her “get healthy, lose weight plan” must be going well!

my laptop, place mats, and kids’ drawings.
I should be wearing more sunscreen too…. and even though I bought a thing of sunscreen for my lips, I totally forgot to apply it before the trail race. I need to get better at applying sunscreen!!!
I feel you on the garbage thing- my husband takes the garbage most of the time, and if he doesn’t, I get my kids involved (although they are girls).

From memory since I am at work… A partial bag of tortilla chips, the weekly supermarket ads, an issue of Bon Appetite, placemats, my workout keys (car/house/lock), something to write with, and some assorted pieces of mail. 🙂

HAHA! Great to hear i’m not the only one with those boob pads littered around her house. As for my kitchen table? Meds I have to take when I eat breakfast and dinner, nail polish, coupons, a magazine, random papers/bills, and my sheep salt shakers. Its kind of a mess.

I don’t have a kitchen table, but I do have a seltzer addiction! Have you tried the SodaStream?

I have the most basic one and it’s amazing. It’s sooo much easier than lugging home 12 packs from the grocery store 🙂
runeatrepeat says
Yes! I have a soda stream but I’m out of the carbonation thing. I should buy them three at a time!
Carey says
LOL that’s what I do! Luckily my grocery store started carrying them so now I have no excuses.

My kitchen table currently has an Amazon box with a broken mug I need to send back and junk mail. Basically a glaring reminder that I should clean more often haha.

I don’t even know what is on my kitchen table right now. Is that bad? Haha!

Happy Anniversary!!!

A laptop, a bowl with bananas and two watermelons because well, it’s watermelon, you don’t really need an excuse to have two.
Sally @ sweat out the small stuff says
Bills, a checkbook and placemats.
Heather @ Polyglot Jot says
haha this is so funny–love the fact that you ate the grapes on the way home from the store! Growing up we always had 24829 things on our table so now i try to only have placemats, napkins, pepper and salt.
I think boys should take out the trash too….haha!
Deb says
No kitchen table, no problem! But, I do have a counter bar and since I’m at work right now, my cat is probably lounging on it. 😮
Love the bundt cake tower. And that business name … genius! Enjoy every bite. 😉
Michelle says
hmmm on my table right now: a random hair tie and a candle holder made out of a geode….

Don’t have a kitchen table because I’m a university kid living the shared kitchen life but I’ve been back on my almond milk game 🙂
