This is Why You’re Fat

In the past I’ve referenced the site “This is Why You’re Fat” when I eat something that is worthy of the website (which I cannot find right now?). Boo, our loss.

Anyways, today I am talking about the other “This is Why You’re Fat” book – Jackie Warner’s health read. I purchased it after Janetha’s review and taking a look for myself.

I’ve been slowly incorporating more protein into my life in order to lose weight and stabilize my blood sugar. But, haven’t made the commitment to truly Clean Up my diet yet.

Well, now I am ready to take a few more steps in that direction. I will be reading through the book and making some positive changes as I see fit. Stay with me for details 🙂IMG_8500

Breakfast – after a quick and hot 4 miles I wanted a smoothie for breakfast. But, I always need something to go along with it… IMG_8495

Lunch – TJ’s egg white salad with chives. Plus carrots with hummus on the side. So good! I didn’t even pre-plan it this way, but this meal is very clean and protein rich!IMG_8498

Now I have a long to do list to tackle… see you in a bit!

    ahhhh, i would so try that pizza and like a lot of the stuff pictured on the thisiswhyyourefat website (except i don’t eat bacon so that takes out a lot of them) … if only for the shock/entertainment value.

    I am definitely trying to input more protein into my diet. I feel like I am seriously lacking and trying to be more adherent to incorporate more. I love the way protein makes me feel!

    I have definitely clicked through the website. Luckily the majority of it looks disgusting to me, but sometimes I think OOOH great idea! lol

    I have to eat something either with the smoothie or afterwards. My body doesn’t register fullness without me chewing something!

    I love the website. It’s funny–and nauseating–to see that nasty food. But it’s so true. I have friends who want to lose weight but they refuse to change what they eat! Crazy.
