“This is why you’re poor” is my very own version of “This is why you’re fat“

This is why you’re poor
Good thing there is “Blogger Foodstamps” aka free samples or contest winnings for bloggers.Yesterday I got my winnings from Tina’s Eggland’s best contest. Heck yes I now have a ton of coupons for eggs!!! Plus a little stuffed egg – who doesn’t want that?
Ben and I are very thankful for any and all samples and/or contest victories. I’m just saying 😉 Yeah for Blogger Foodstamps!!!
On the I.E. front – Intuitive eating has been very hard lately. I’ve noticed (with help from the white board) that I feel like I don’t have control of my career and school work right now. This leads me to eat more than I’d like. The board is def making me more aware of how stress, worries or being tired directly leads to a lot of snacking. I’m not completely binging, but I have ruined my appetite for dinner and lunch with snacking many times this week. Noted.
Long Run – After some consulting my peeps I have decided to “play it by ear” regarding my long run tomorrow. If I get up early enough I may be able to bust it out. I have no idea how much clothing I will have to wear (since I was freezing last weekend as it is). But I will keep ya posted! I already am wearing two beanies every time I leave the house now!

I don’t mind spending a lot on good and healthy food. But not everyday, of course.

Heyyy good luck with the run! I love to run in the winter and the snow, you just have to keep an eye out for ice. I just wrote about what I wear to run in winter. Maybe it will help, but I was born in raised in PA, so I’m used to the cold. I wish I had California blood, though!!

I buy lots of frozen veggies. They actually are great because they serve two purposes. I eat them of course, but they are what I use to ice my legs with after runs. Nothing like a steamfresh broccoli pack to ice your shins.

Produce is expensive! I want a persimmon but don’t want to shell out $2 for just one!

haha to that cartoon and soooo true to “this is why i’m poor” i feel the same way!

Produce can be expensive – I buy some of mine frozen, and some stuff canned (like corn and green beans), in place of fresh. For stir-fries, frozen is awesome 🙂

I love egglands best. You can always find coupons for them! Produce does get sooo expensive 🙁
