TJ’s Tuesday and Taco Tuesday

Uncategorized

22 Feb

Lunch was courtesy of Trader Joe’s. Well, not courtesy as in they paid for it, but courtesy as in I keep plugging them on RER and get absolutely nothing in return.

Wait. I did recently get a form “thanks no thanks” email when I contacted them and suggested they build up their social media by employing me. Oh well…

Three ingredients: tempeh, peanut sauce and stir-fry veggies.  I also suggest their frozen brown rice that takes 2 minutes in the microwave.

Throw it in a pan. Cook. Garnish with peanuts. IMG_8906Eat.

As at least 90% of my meals come from tjs, I’m pretty sure they should be paying me by this point.

TJ’s loss for sure girl, they should pay you for all the publicity you give! Lunch looks great and I am in love with all of the little cartoons you post!

There are no Trader Joe’s near me and the one that’s quite a drive away is suuuuuper tiny and has basically none of the “typical TJ” stuff I see online. Bummer!

I love easy meals like that. I hadn’t planned on a margarita tonight….do you think wine would be ok? 🙂

If it makes you feel any better, I plug TJ’s all the time to and get no thanks. I can’t even manage to win their raffle even though I fill out a ticket for having reusable bags every single week. They should employ us both because I think we’re their biggest fans…or at least give us some free stuff.

I think TJ’s should pay me to promote their peanut flour- it would keep it from going out of business! I feel like I’m always telling strangers how much I love it 🙂

I celebrated Meatless Mondays [I’m vegan, so that wasn’t hard] with tacos yesterday, but I’m pretty sure they’re on the menu for tonight, too. 🙂
