Hello! I got another chance to pretend I’m Khloe Kardashian today, I worked out with Gunnar Peterson! This week is the IDEA Fitness conference and Blog Fest in Los Angeles. As part of the grand finale of our Propel “Lyte up your workout” Challenge the participating bloggers got in a great workout with Gunnar this morning.
But first let’s back up to last night. I stayed at the fanciest hotel in LA and was very impressed to find a TV in the bathroom mirror! What!!?!
I enjoyed the views while eating chocolate and made some tea before hitting the bed.
This morning I started my day with the fiber drink from the 24 Day Challenge. I decided to start it a little early since I have the products and am excited about it.
Then it was go time! I channeled my inner Khloe and headed to the gym. (Last time we worked out in Gunner’s gym and I asked him questions about her because I’m obsessed and weird.)
Gunner gave us a great circuit workout. We warmed up on the treadmill first and then hit it!
Front lunges w/ front raise, Side lunges with lateral raise, Back/Twist lunge with monkey raise.
Push-ups with plank twist
DIPS! I said I couldn’t do these because I can’t really hold my own weight but AT helped me out.
Abs for days. After our last workout with Gunner we all agreed that OUR ABS HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE SORE in our entire lives. We all said it. Hopefully this will get us a good burn again. I love it.

I seriously was chugging after this session. We were all super sweaty, that’s also how you know it’s a good one, right?
After the workout we hung out on the roof and enjoyed breakfast.

Question: What was/is your workout today?
Do you like to be sore?
This post is part of my collaboration with Propel. All opinions are my own.

So jealous! I love/ hate to be sore! You know what I mean…can’t walk but man that was a good one. I did a 4 mile run and yoga this weekend. KC half marathon training starts this week!

When did you start your 24 day challenge? I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on it! Did you weigh yourself/ take measurements when you started? I finished my challenge a few weeks ago and really liked it!

Saturday. I took before pictures. I wasn’t going to weigh myself but I happened to get weighed when I went to an appt. How did it go for you?

I liked it! I think the hardest part for me was no coffee or wine for 24 days! The headaches for the first couple of days were incredible. I loved how much energy I had on the cleanse ( I think that was my favorite part) I had a hard time with the max phase though because there were SO MANY PILLS! Being a nurse and not getting guaranteed breaks all the time made it hard for me to stay on track. All in all I lost about 10 pounds and my pants fit a lot better! 🙂 I can’t wait to hear how yours goes!

Today is my running off-day so I’m doing this new (to me) Tracy Anderson DVD that I found at Costco! I haven’t tried it yet, but I hope it makes me sore, because I definitely like to feel it!

I LOVE being sore after a workout. It makes me feel like I did something. And that tv in the bathroom is so cool!! Quite a bit unnecessary, but really cool.

Okay, first, don’t try to be like Khloe K. You are much more interesting and much prettier! (That might sound weird, but I’m really not a weirdo. Really I’m not. Ha ha!)
My workout today is an hour on the rower and an hour on the stair stepper. I’ve had to put my marathon training on hold 🙁 due to plantar fasciitis taking over my foot. But I’m trying to at least keep my cardio up so I can run the half. The race is in September and I’m sure I can do 13.1 after taking time off, but not so sure about a full. Today is long run day, so 2 hours it is.

A tv in the mirror – so weird! I do like being sore to an extent because it’s proof I worked hard the day before. However, I hate the kind of sore where you can barely walk and feel agony any time you try to stand up/sit down (I have had a few of those days recently).

Whenever I am sore after a workout I always feel it was the best workout! Looks like a super fun day working out!
