The BF vs. Monica

by runeatrepeat on May 21, 2008

The BF sent me an email last night with what he ate for dinner. It included the recipe and a picture of his food. He thought it was funny since it is in such contrast with what I eat. The subject line was BF vs Monica.

I am putting it on the blog to show how freakin‘ hard it is to eat healthy when I am around this guy all the time. He swears anything with meat, eggs and cheese are good for you because protein is important or something like that. Actually, I don’t know his logic for it. It might be, “because it tastes better than the healthy shit you eat”.

Picture of Ben’s Happiness RecipeHere is the recipe exactly as he wrote it:

Ben’s Happiness Recipe
1 lb of ground beef

6 large eggs
3/4 cup of cheddar cheese
ton of tapatio
olive oil
1/2 cup of marinara sauce
-use olive oil to fry the ground beef while seasoning with tapatio

-when brown, add cheese and stir

-when cheese melts, add marinara

-when melty, add eggs

-stir in frying pan on medium until satisfied that there’s no salmonella
Feeds 1 Ben 3 meals
Goes good with a bag of broccoli!

To his credit he did eat it with some broccoli. But, that is because I left that bag of broccoli over at his place the last time I was there.

To put it in perspective he is a large man so of course he is going to eat more than me, but a lot of the time I can stay with him bite for bite, hence my big ass.

“This is a normal sized car.” One of the funniest things I’ve heard (read). Aside from you saying that you Easter egg hunt with salt in hand. You were on a roll today.

Ha! Don’t tell me about the calendar. My people are Mayan, we invented the calendar!
