Hello!!! How’s your day going?! Mine is amazing because I had a nice, zen 8 mile run and then interviewed someone for a blog post that I’m super in love with!!! Cannot wait to share <3image thumb50 Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe

The biggest holiday in America is this Sunday – SUPER BOWL!

Fun fact: Did you know the average game watcher eats 8,600 calories on Super Bowl Sunday?

No? Oh.

You probably didn’t know that because I made it up.super bowl thumb Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe

Anyway, I am not really into the teams this year but I still LOVE a good Super Bowl Party – mostly for the food and drinks.

True Fun Fact: The first time I got drunk was at a Super Bowl party with my ex-BF when I was meeting his friends for the first time. Way to class it up Monica.

And while I’m sure there will be plenty of indulgent pizza and wings – here is a healthified recipe to take to your party!IMG 0758 800x600 thumb Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe

My favorite super bowl party food is chicken wings. I found an awesome healthy(ish) recipe that I’m going to whip up on Sunday. I also really love pizza, but I think we’re going to try it on the cauliflower crust like you recommended.

I love wings! Last year we hosted a Super Bowl party and because I am me I healthified everything. As far as I know nobody noticed. I especially liked the lightened spinach and artichoke dip. It was so good and tasted like it came from a restaurant. I need to find that recipe again!

I have the unhealthy version of this dip. It’s been a family fav for years! I wish I had this version when I was pregnant with my daughter, I craved and ate buffalo dip……once and a while, like to many times to count.
Maybe I’ll try the old switcharoo on the fam and see if they notice.

Yes!! I am running my first full (GULP) and am strangely, excitedly looking forward to it. It won’t be fast, but I will make it happen.

I’ll be looking for ya’…I’m also expo-ing early Saturday morning.

Good luck and happy (fast) running. :)

I have never actually watched the Super Bowl. It’s probably for the best. I don’t want an 8600 calorie day. haha.

I love buffalo chicken dip. SO good. 7 layer taco dip and guacamole are good too:-)

I was actually thinking about making a buffalo chicken dip this year – maybe I’ll try this one out!
We’re having a chili cook-off, but I’m also making shredded potatoes because I don’t eat chili…or watch football either actually.

I love the pickle/cream cheese/ham rollups! They are pretty much a staple at any party :)

Your dip sounds much better than the swanson one – I’ll just modify the spice level for my poor weak tummy! Thanks for sharing!

Yum. I love all sorts of chips and dips. I’m not picky when it comes to unhealthy foods, I love them all. :)

Love layered dip with cream cheese on bottom, then retried beans, then salsa, then shredded cheese. Bake at 350 until bubbling hot. Let cool slightly then eat with tortilla chips! Yum!

I’m not into the teams this year either, but I will never not get excited for the superbowl. And, my love Beyonce at half time is gonna make my day!!

I’m less excited for the food and more excited for the beer. I don’t drink often so it’s nice to have one (or several) on game day.

I love all the dips. All kinds. The more unhealthy the more I will probably like it. No joke.

Ha! I think I’ve always favored the most unhealthy options too :)

Love how easy that is! My favorites were always the mozzarella sticks and pre-made hot snacks, but now that I’m gluten free I usually make some guac and stick with veggies/chips and dips…so at least it’s healthier? Buuuut I miss my mozzarella sticks.

You should make g-free mozzarella sticks!

Wow. I just got really hungry reading this post. Although I was planning my long run on Sat this weekend, maybe I should aim for Sunday because I never fail to eat anything and everything I see after a solid, satisfying long run (and then my tapering for ATX really begins)…

Be great to read everyone’s post next Monday – Super Bowl isn’t that big here.

I love buffalo chicken dip. Or anything buffalo. Well, except for an actual buffalo.

Is that all the dip you ate??? If so, I am sad for you! You should have eaten more. It looks amazing, and if it is anything close to what my sister in law makes, I’d eat at least half of it! Maybe that is you you have a 6 pack and I don’t! =)

27 runeatrepeat January 31, 2013 at 9:14 am

Ha! No I totally ate more than that, but I don’t think I should take pics of me digging straight into the serving dish ;)

That dip is the best ever! I make it all the time and will bring it to a friend’s for the SUPER BOWL!
