      Honestly POTM inspired me to keep on my feet and i KNOW I ran a ton more than I would have otherwise. I’m keeping up the spirit and continuing my streak!

      I’ve been using a fitbit this month, so the miles have been piling. I like the 25 days of fitness challenges and will definitely post on my fridge as a reminder/motivator in December.

      I achieved my POTM goal!!! I set it low (30 miles) and achieved it the week before Thanksgiving, when I went on a cruise–DH & I walked 5-6 miles for each of the 4 port stops.

      I have 6.58 miles to go to make my POTM goal…and I have a 7 mile run scheduled for 10 minutes so it’s looking good!

      I’ll hit my POTM goal for this week tomorrow morning after my three miles.

      The 25 Day Challenge looks like a great addition to the #RWRunStreak and the #HolidayShred13 I’m already doing. I’m determined to LOSE weight this holiday season and need all the motivation I can get!!

      Well I completed my goal and did great at my turkey trot today. The resting for a week helped. I feel great!! 🙂 yay for cliff bars! Those are yummy!! 🙂

      I did not participate in Pile on the Miles because I was tapering for Richmond Marathon, running the marathon and then taking the necessary rest week and am now in active rest week, but I am definitely in for 25 days of fitness!

      Piles on the Miles is going great for me! I’ve been doing speed training runs each week – just once a week. This is something I’ve never done before, and I’m really proud of myself for incorporating them into my workouts… They’re hard!

      It’s been a good week so far- 10 miles in 3 days! My family is going to our cabin for the next five days, and I am so excited to run the trails. We’re even doing our very own 5k turkey trot on Thanksgiving!

      I am so in for the 25 days of fitness. i am also challenging a couple friends to do it with me (with a lovely prize at the end- like a mani!)

To some this isn’t much but I have NEVER kept up with running over the winter and it’s going well! Currently at 42~ miles. Hoping for good treadmill time at the parents this weekend 🙂

      I did not do Pile on the Miles. I am a new reader to your blog. Although I have been running quite a bit this last week or so. The first week of November I was down for the count with pneumonia! I plan on running at least 6 miles on Turkey Day!

      Sadly my POTM is not going so hot. I have such trouble keeping my miles up if I’m not training for a race. Lame, I know.

      This week will be 20 miles. 4 this morning, 10k race thanksgiving morning and planning 9-10 miles on saturday. so far this month its 57 miles total.

      This week has been COLD. I ran on Saturday, 3.2 miles! Woot! Now to run tomorrow, Thursday, and Saturday again! 🙂 I’m all set to run my 5k in December! It’s going swimmingly.

      Pile on the miles is going well, with a race this weekend I’ll meet my goal. I wish I hadn’t done the math though because now I’m thinking “I don’t really NEED to run today, since I’ll make my November goal…”

      going strong this week! extra miles on Turkey day are in the plan…was only scheduled for 4 and weights but I want to take advantage of the day off and do a mid-morning (not the crack of dawn…or slightly before in most cases) long run!

      goals are great — getting all my workouts out, and nutrition has been decent as well. except for that little cup of fro-yo this afternoon. but with 8 miles yesterday and today, 2 CrossFit classes, a hockey game, and yoga; I think I can spare a little treat. I love Clif bars and shotblocks!!!
