Sunday Set Up for Life

My Life· What Runners Eat

11 Jan

Hello! I’m just checking in really fast while I take a break from my Sunday Set Up, only today it’s more life set up than meal prep and exercise planning.

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with my fam. My favorite tiny person was there and I cannot get enough of her cuteness.

I love to spend the day at my fam’s because I eat all their food and it’s better than my food and makes me happy. Yesterday’s eats included chicken fajitas, guacamole and homemade chips because we were out of them.

My mom’s friend made a hat for our Tapatio to keep it warm in the winter.

tapatio time (640x640)

From there I headed home to enjoy Saturday evening on the couch. Just like I like it. Note the cat trying to steal my cereal!

my idea of a good time (800x600)

Today I was on a mission to get some stuff done around the condo. I have so many random little things I need to clean and fix and la-di-da here. My desk is a mess and I just pile things on top of the mess because I’m the worst.

I was super proud of myself because I was about to fix something with this super glue that I found in the storage closet… then, I realized it was all hard and doesn’t work anymore. Fail! I was so close to knocking it off the list.

So, that’s when I decided to stop drop and roll into a blog post.

Also. I am so HUNGRY today. Seriously.

i want food

This is a short post and I just stopped to have a snack! I’m just going with it and hopefully will have a normal hunger level tomorrow (normal for me, which is still like two 16 year old boys).

abs are cool but so is food (450x800) i need help (640x640)

Sunday Set Up

Just because I’m setting up my fingers to be glued together doesn’t mean you get the day off. Let’s do some Sunday Set Up action and plan for a great week!

Question: On a scale from 1 to 10 – How hungry are you right this second?

1 = You just ate at a buffet

10 = You would eat basically anything that wouldn’t kill you.

THIS IS YOUR YEAR.

Your “Sunday Set Up” is on point! I try to do all of the above, but tend to forget about scheduling my workouts. Thanks for the reminder 🙂

We’ve been doing Sunday meal prep for a while now. It’s the only way I eat healthy EVERY day during the week…which means I can splurge a bit on dinners and date nights. 🙂

Now that we have a baby, meal prep takes longer, so I started doing grocery shopping on Friday nights then cooking on Sunday. It turns out, grocery stores aren’t maddeningly crowded on Friday nights. It also turns out, once you have a baby, little things like that make you happy (and possibly lame). Whomp whomp…

I think super glue is made to be used one time then thrown away. By the time I need it for a second round of gluing, its dried up. Fail!

The day I can say “oh, today I completely forgot to eat” is the day I know I have finally made it in life. Until then I continue to stuff my face…

Moderate I think…maybe a 2 or 3 even though it’s lunch hour. Hey, how does your mom make the chips? What are they made of? Can I have the recipe?

3 – had a big dinner but it was about 4 hours ago so… I could eat. I was sooooo hungry this week. Oddly enough, healthy food doesn’t have as many calories as the junk food I was eating over the holidays. Shocking!

I’m at a 1 thanks to the white chocolate Oreos (plural) I polished off while watching my Sunday night shows.

I’m about a 3. I ate dinner earlier but am totally snacky now and want to have some popcorn while we watch our shows.

On a side note- my 6 y/o and 3y/o see you picture below the comments and asked if you were real and if you had a daughter. I said no and they pointed to the pic of you holding the baby and were convinced I was lying. Kids are nosy lol.

I’m at a 1 since I just finished eating dinner. I ate ALL of the broccoli that there was (and I hate broccoli). Linked your Set up Sunday to my blog post 🙂 I love it!

Pretty hungry! It’s not quite dinner time, so I guess I’ll grab a healthy snack. Here’s to a great week! 🙂

I’m like a 9. Driving home from a restaurant where I found a hair in my food… Sooo yeah I didn’t eat. Will be raiding the pantry momentarily 😉

I’d say I’m around a 3. I’ve been running around Mexico City all day so normally I’d be starving, but I drank a ton of water with my torta so I feel stuffed.
Not too stuffed for ice cream, though.

My stomach has been in knots today so I have little appetite. It’s a sad day when I don’t want to eat 🙁
