Hello! On this episode of the Run Eat Repeat podcast I’m talking about how I was called out on my bullsh!t this week. So, I’m asking myself – am I training or tiring myself??

training or tiring your body (534x800)

I’m getting real with asking myself this question… Are you training or tiring yourself?

Pile on the Miles starts soon!!

The first one was in 2009 and I won 2nd place for the most miles. I took it over in 2010 and would LOVE for you to participate.

1. Sign up on the POTM Form to get the calendar here.

2. Check in on @RunEatRepeat ‘s Instagram  everyday from the 1st to the 21st to hold yourself accountable and motivate others.

3. Play the photo challenge to be entered to WIN!

Each day there will be a photo idea –>  snap a pic that works with the prompt –> post to IG –> tag @RunEatRepeat and #TeamRER.

At the end of each 7 day week I’ll choose 3 winners at random – 2 will win Pro Compression socks of your choice and 1 will win a $100 Amazon gift card!

You don’t have to post every photo. But  the more days you post – the more chances you have to WIN!

I don’t have instagram. Is it needed to be a part of this challenge?
    I don’t need any additional distractions….LOL

I don’t understand how this finally resonated with you? For the years I have read your blog, you are ALWAYS overdoing the junk miles without a legit plan. HOW is this new and only sinking in now?

Woohoo for Pile on the Miles 🙂

I am currently training for CIM in December and my A goal is to qualify for Boston. My B goal is to PR (currently a 3:51 & I just ran a 1/2 in 1:39). My C goal is to not walk. And my D goal is to not die. I am using a plan by Sage Running. I am actually a certified run coach, but I didn’t want to over-analyze my own training 🙂

I want to beat my PR for my 5k time. I’m not really a runner but I’m trying!

So I’ve been wanting to do a 10k. I mostly have only done 5ks but now I want to branch out a little bit. I also want to get faster in my 5k because I’m not all that fast. I’m pretty average. Anyway, this came at a good time for me! I haven’t ever followed a training plan really, I’ve run for 20 years and I’ve just kind of made things up on my own. But today I decided to try a training plan, so this morning I did the first run in a 10k plan! And hopefully, between that and the pile on the miles challenge, I will keep at it.
