15 Best Sriracha Recipes and a Sriracha Addict Quiz

Fun· What Runners Eat

I go through Sriracha faster than I go through running shoes these days. And with 6 back to back races – that’s saying a lot! Between that and the Sriracha diet I should buy stock in the stuff!

I LOVE that you know me so well and send me links for fun Sriracha-y stuff. This week I received a link for a Sriracha Bacon Lollipop…

image

and a quiz to see “How Addicted to Sriracha Are You?”

image

Given that my breakfast was eggs drowned in Sriracha and ketchup,

sriracha eggs

and lunch was a salad lightly sprinkled Winking smile with more Sriracha – you can probably figure out my quiz score was “Go to Sriracha’s Anonymous asap”

sriracha salad and toes

Sriracha toe nail colored polish spotting! Coulda cropped that, but didn’t wanna.

Anyway.

Since you show me the Sriracha love, I thought I’d share this list of the 15 Sriracha Recipes I want to make / I wish someone would make for me asap.

If I had to pick a favorite I’d say the Lobster and Sriracha Grilled Cheese steals my tiny black heart.

Question: Do you practice safe eating and use condiments?

This is my go-to condiment. It goes on my eggs, salads, sandwiches, you name it, I use it.

It is almost addictive! I love the recipes and can’t wait to try a few. Thanks for sharing.

I am working with a friend currently to have sriracha put out in small packets like ketchup so I can carry it around with me everywhere. So disappointing when I’m out at a restaurant and my meal is ruined with the lack of the good stuff. It’s a little embarrassing carrying it in my purse…

Clearly, I need to try out Siracha on some more food items. My husband LOVES it. And hot sauce + ketchup + eggs?! Be still my heart! I’d probably get crazy and sprinkle a little blue cheese on there too though! Blue cheese kicks up any meal in my opinion, without adding too much dairy/cheese, because its so darn flavorful!

I have yet to figure out how to eat nothing but hot sauce as a meal, which is a shame because my fridge is like 90% hot sauces. If I can’t put some sort of hot sauce on it I probably don’t want to eat it anyway. I like to make cheap pad Thai with Ramen noodles (sans the seasoning packets and drained of water), chunky peanut butter and a ton of Sriracha, adding veggies and tofu if I’m not feeling super lazy. Sriracha is also totally rad on pizza.

And a PSA after wolfing down a foot-long veggie in the name of carb-loading, Subway’s homemade creamy Sriracha gets a thumbs up. Super tasty.

I use it a lot when eating Pho at a local Vietnamese restaurant. It is so awesome.

They only time I’ve had sriracha was when Lay’s made those sriracha chips! I’m not a big fan of spicy things but that lobster and sriracha grilled cheese sure looks good!

You should check out the November 4th New Yorker magazine issue. There’s a great article about chili peppers and why people love spicy food!

I like sirracha but I’m so scared of all the preservatives in it – I bought TJs version but haven’t tried it yet!

Don’t laugh but I have a small container in my fridge from Subway. I am STILL scared to try it! It is more spicy than buffalo sauce or an entirely different flavor altogether? I need to just take the plunge!

I am not the safest sriracha sauce user. I use it haphazardly on everything.

I love sriracha also. My husband and I always go to a local sushi restaurant and the chef we always sit with said in the last few years they have made it less spicy than it used to be so more people will use it. I don’t know if this is true or not, I just thought I was building up a heat tolerance finally!

Yep, I put sriracha on everything. Never did until my husband got me hooked on it, darn him. I love it!! It’s way better than hot sauce and makes everything taste better.

Oooh the last one sounds and looks delicious!
I used to put Sriracha on everything! I actually started out with Tabasco on everything when I was in second grade. That continued until high school when I switched over to Sriracha.
