This post brought to you by Sabra Dipping Co, LLC.. All opinions are 100% mine.

Years ago I made hummustard salad dressing for the first time. It’s name gives away 90% of the ‘secret’ recipe = hummus + mustard.

Oh, hummustard. Just like me, it’s not fancy. And also like me it’s kinda orange. And like me it’s changed over the years as I’ve gotten older and wiser and more aggressive with the Sriracha.

But the OG version was a take on honey mustard salad dressing and that’s what I have for you today – a sweet, creamy honey mustard style dressing that’s super easy to whip together even if you’re not the ‘I make my own salad dressing and pour it over the freshly picked kale leaves from my organic garden’ type.

I’m more of the ‘eat right out of the container type’ anyway.

For some reason I’ve only ever made it in small one meal’s worth batches. That’s dumb because I could drink the stuff it’s so good! So, I finally have an official hummustard dressing recipe for you!

Never thought of combining hummus and mustard but I love them both. And I love the Sabra spicy hummus too!

What’s the recipe with sriracha – is it this recipe as above, but with sriracha added?
Also, what sweetener did you use? I’m definitely going to give it a try with honey I think!

I used a packet of stevia (which isn’t for everyone) for a honey mustard-y flavor. When I make it with Sriracha I actually skip the mustard and use Sriracha in stead.

Was wondering why you added the sweetener until I re-looked at the post and spotted “honey” before “mustard”. 🙂
Any idea how it would taste if I omitted this?

Ok, so I am totally the “Make My Own Salad Dressing” type but I have yet to get a garden full of organic kale leaves so hopefully that makes me still pretty normal?

I am completely unable to stop eating Sabra hummus so this recipe looks like something I would actually eat in quantities large enough to fill a bathtub. Going to try it ASAP!

yum! i’ve seen so much about “just use mustard as salad dressing!” but I’m not sure i’m ready to try it… this looks like a good gateway dressing!

I too have gotten much more aggressive with the Sriracha as I have gotten older.
