Hello! How are you? This morning I am up and ready to do a little shake out run and spend a lot of time stretching again. I wasn’t sore at all after the Santa Clarita Marathon but I know I need to give myself time to rest and rebuild.
Also, I’m glad that it’s finally cooling off for Fall but… I’m also FREEZING right now and it’s 49 degrees.

Today I did the stair climber for an hour, stretched, abs and some leg work. Have an appt with the orthopedist tomorrow. I think I pulled a calf muscle last week because my right calf cramped up mid-stride during a 5 mile run. Not fun. Have been taking it easy on running since then and then yesterday, BAM, ran 2.5 miles and ended up with a bruise running up the interior of my shin and my calf is swollen. GRRRRR

It is so windy and rainy today that I just wanted to crawl back in to my bed and sleep until the sun came out again. But I’m guessing that will be April sometime and I just don’t have time for that.
