I don’t know how to say this. I don’t know if there is something wrong with me (outside of the obvious) or I have some kind of memory loss issue or hit my head last night (wine) or what but I really am in shock at how badly I dropped the ball this time. This morning after my run I went to make eggs for breakfast, per usual and discovered…
I WAS COMPLETELY OUT OF SRIRACHA! Dun dun duuuuuuuunnnnnn.
This has never happened before because luckily for me I am a food hoarder. I buy Sriracha, and basically all my favorite foods, before I’m even close to being out of them so I never have to live one minute without: Sriracha, watermelon, iced coffee, chocolate…
So obviously this is of great concern because I’m now convinced I have early onset Srirachiosis.
Luckily, my friends at the G ‘mills sent me a supply of cereal so I had breakfast all worked out!
And now the moment you’ve all been waiting for…
Starbucks Iced Coffee Review
Yesterday I picked up the ready to drink Starbucks iced coffee from the refrigerated section at Target.
I try not to drink coffee after 3 pm because I’ve heard it impacts sleep patterns so I waited until this morning to give it a whirl. I tasted it black and it’s pretty smooth and not too strong, but I mixed it with almond milk and stevia for the full effect.
Verdict: Dig it. I like that it’s not too strong straight up. I like that it’s so easy to ‘make’ versus making regular hot coffee or cold brew. And even though it’s more expensive than making a pot of hot coffee it’s cheaper to drink this than going to Starbucks for iced coffee every day.
In other kinda new food reviews… I am digging this Lemon Twist Hummus from Sabra! I love lemon in water, but don’t usually like it on food. However I am obsessed with this flavor of hummus.
Happy Taco Tuesday or Wednesday or whenever you’re reading this.
Okay… now I’m off to the store and then I actually do have a lil Taco Tuesday party to attend!

just an fyi, there are some Starbucks that offer you a refill on coffee, iced coffee or tea, I don’t know how to find out, but the one at my office does, and my refill is $.67 or something crazy like that

Officially I only have one bottle open in the pantry.
The hoarder in me knows that I have an emergency Sriracha stash tucked away plus the two bottles I keep at my work desk for work food emergencies. They happen, I admit it.

Buy at least a dozen. Maybe two!!

Okay, I’m actually LOLing at the fact that we BOTH used a graphic of Jack Black saying “I want a hot body, but I also want tacos” in our posts today.
#totallytwinning (I wish it was Tuesday so I could add “onatuesday”

Actually my dinner might just be tacos tonight. I have to teach a class and then have a meeting an hour later in the same area so I can’t go home. There is a fancy taco place right across the street that is calling my name…
I have plenty of sriracha here if you want some!
Hannah @ Will Run For Coffee says
My husband came home with three bottles of hot sauce last night. Very good husband, you get a biscuit.
Dinner last night was prawn linguini (50% linguini, 50% courgetti). I’m prioritising the hot body over the tacos, even though I could gladly eat 100 tacos right now (and it’s 9.23am here as I write this…).
Morgan @ Morgan Manages Mommyhood says
My biggest fear is running out of my must have staples. I have, like, three extra bottles of ketchup and jars of pickles at all times.
Becky @ Ok, so here's the plan says
Convinced the boyfriend to make it a taco Tuesday tonight (I want tacos every day, so he tries to minimize the taco madness).
Pretty sure you should always have at least 2 bottles of sriracha to avoid this situation in the future. 😉

Right now we have about 4-5 bottles of Sriracha stored in our cabinet right now. We panicked when the Sriracha plant made the news due to their neighbors complaining about the strong smell. There was a possibility the plant would need to shut down causing a Sriracha shortage. Luckily that never happened, but we weren’t taking any chances. If a Sriracha crisis strikes, we’re ready!

You can cold brew coffee (directions on pinterest) . It does take about 12 hours so you have to plan it out. But that’s how I make my iced coffees and pretty much the only way I make coffee since ice is my favorite! Fyi a coconut coffee with coconut milk tastes like Hawaii!

i wasnt planning on tacos, but after the day ive had? oh yeah. (no im much more of an enchilada girl….)
and i…. actually…. don’t eat siracha. !!! I know! I hate spicy stuff, and hot stuff. I’m such a pansy hahaha
Annette @ Sweating Through Life says
Tostada Tuesday here! And per the Fun Fact about coffee: I should die daily. oops.
Sheena @ Paws and Pavement says
I had planned for a taco Tuesday but need to use up leftovers first! Tacos and margaritas are the best!!
Sally @ sweat out the small stuff says
You should have a dozen bottles on hand. No joke.
I am having leftover chicken and potatoes for dinner. Plus I’m sure I will have my hand in the bag of chocolate chips too.
