I lost my earring and found a smoothie

(but I didn’t lose my earring in my smoothie)

Hello hello! I totally forgot to fill you in on my Sunday Funday. I just wanted to share my hummus quesadilla recipe before I forgot and in time for Meatless Monday.

Ben made an appearance this weekend and we revived our old Sunday morning tradition of walking to get coffee and donuts. I want to do this for the rest of my life until I’m old and gray.

We went to a little coffee shop with the most amazing almond pastries of my life. They are like almond croissants but 1000x better – filled with marzipan and completely covered in toasted almond slivers.

Then, we went to church. My friends kicked me out of Bible study so it was nice to say hi to God.
Ok not really but everyone’s been very busy lately so we haven’t gotten together in a while.

I sported my new maxi dress with the cute hold back it’s super comfy but does require a strapless bra or  halter bra.

This is a fun crochet back maxi. And this has a similar front neck line.

Sadly I lost one of my pearl earrings the other day. But I’m pretty sure they were fake anyway (this is why I can’t have nice things.)

So I’m sporting my rose studs for now.

This morning I just started my day with a nice little run where I spotted a cactus leaf or branch or whatever you call it in the shape of a heart.

Love it!

Didn’t get any pictures of breakfast but it did get a picture of my snack. I made a super thick smoothie served up in a bowl with hemp seeds. I didn’t use protein powder and doubled up the yogurt instead.

Greek Yogurt Smoothie in a Bowl

2 container of strawberry Greek yogurt
1 cup coconut milk
Ice

Blend. Top with granola / hemp seeds  / chocolate chips / a ham sandwich / chopped nuts / whatever.

    I’m snacking on blueberries and sriracha potato chips – not at the same time. 🙂

    I pretty much always have earrings in – plain diamond studs. I’m too lazy to change them very often.

    I almost always wear earrings, but I left the house this morning without them. Generally some sort of hoop. I know I’m not 14 any more, but I love them. 🙂

    I always wear earrings, and I usually find one pair I like, I wear them constantly and I’m so irritated when I inevitably lose one. I’ve been wearing my current pair for the last 6 months and finally got smart and went back to the store to get another pair as a back up! And those pastries with the marzipan sound amazing! I need one!

    I have so many earrings in this really nice jewelry box at home. And how often do you think I wear them?? On special occasions when I’m not running. Let’s say 2x a month??? I should change that.
    I snacked on watermelon today. And A LOT of it.

    A ham sandwich! Ha! I like to top my strawberry/pb shake with a pb sandwich. Mmmm

    I have earrings on! Same ole cheapies that I keep painting gold with my gold nail polish. Their legit red carpet ready.

    I hate losing earrings. Especially favorites. I rarely wear them, because I have to wear headphones at work, but they’re fun to wear at church and stuff.
    I snacked on a random bag of kettle corn that I found in my desk drawer. Win!

    no earrings today. i have been wearing jewelry less and less these days.

    I just had a smoothie after my workout: chia, protein powder, ALL THE GREENS, and blueberries. It was great.

    My Blue Apron dinner the other night used a cactus just like that and I felt fancy and afraid all at the same time.

    I’m snacking onnn….. already I had a Nutrigrain blueberry eggo sans butter, now eating oatmeal with flaxseed meal, chia seeds, protein powder, and peanut butter, for lunch i brought lamb pilaf….. and i’ll snack on anything and everything that’s around hahaha

    I do wear earrings, but im not wearing them now! I also tend to lose mine… i used to wear HUGE dangley earrings, but now I just stick with studs.
