It was freezing in Southern California this morning! Okay, I know a lot of you are in actual cold weather but I am not physically or emotionally prepared for cold weather. Ever. Anyway. So even though I am very dramatic about the cold it was chilly enough to get some frost on the grass and this wooden bridge.
I came back and told Vegas, but he didn’t really care. Typical. He’s so self involved.
I did a short 4 miles just to get my sweat on and came back home for some strength work. I did a little bit of arms and little bit of lower body while catching up on Vanderpump Rules. It’s just okay, but the previews for the next episode got me excited!!
Kind of related – I am dying to make Goat Cheese balls at home.
Eat – That potato and egg frittata I made Sunday night. It came out so amazing. What is it about potatoes and eggs that is a match made in Heaven?!

The nice people from Baggallini sent me the Have It All Tote a few weeks ago. I messed up my last gym bag and have been using a canvas bag to pack up for races and long runs. This bag solves that problem perfectly. It’s BIG and has a ton of pockets for all my randomness: phone, water, snacks, towel, sunglasses, sunblock… the pockets are on the outside AND inside. For someone that is not naturally organized this is magical.
I used the bag for the half marathon this weekend.

My Chapstick is an extension of me as such it’s everywhere that I am – my purse, my jackets, my car, my desk, bathroom, kitchen, gym bag, work desk / bag, tv room… EVERYWHERE, because you always need moist lips! #omnipresentchapsticks

Since all my workouts happen at 5am in my garage I don’t have a gym bag packed at this stage in my life but I always have regular Chapstick in my purse for my kiddos and bath and body lip gloss for myself.
SO here’s the thing…my gym bag is in my backseat and has been for about four months. I can’t even remember what’s in there. My plan is to get back to the gym after I leave my job this month.
Otherwise…I have the most amazing Burt’s Bees chapstick in my purse!

Yes, I do! Several different kinds, in fact! I can’t go without it this time of year, in the frozen tundra we call Boston! Being able to find one, however, is another problem entirely. 🙂
I don’t have a gym bag per se (hence the need for this one). But I have a million Chapsticks and lip glosses in my work bag. I always try to clean it out and keep it minimal, but I love lip product so I inevitably will end up with a minimum of 5 tubes.
No Chapstick or lip gloss but I keep literally every other accessory including towels, extra socks, face wipes, wash clothes, Advil, etc. The bag seems perfect for the amount of “stuff” required to tote around!

I don’t have a gym bag. If I want to go to the gym, I use my old orange canvas Esprit bag from high school. I graduated in 1990, so the handles are very frayed. I keep Burt’s Bees Honey Lip Balm in my purse, though!

I actually have Vasoline in my gym bag. I live up north and have started more running in the winter. Example – last night it was about 19 degrees and felt like about 10 with the wind chill. Use it to prevent wind burn and make my lips nice and soft. 🙂

With the lovely dry air here in beautiful Boulder, Colorado I have many chapsticks. In my backpack/workout bag I carry three: all by the amazing vegan brand Hurraw! Their tangerine chamomile with spf 15 is my go to as of late. But their earl gray tea and chai never disappoint! Oooooh I hope I win this bag. It will be perfect for an upcoming trail race. Fingers crossed!

I have a clear lip gloss, along with a very neutral shade of lipstick (you just never know) and Burt’s Bee Balm for lips. I often go from school (my gym bag is also my tote for bringing work/computer home) to the high school where I do my repeats and get in my long runs. Sure do! Carmex is my go-to. Lipgloss is also stashed in there if I’m going somewhere fancy after a workout. Typically I’m a sweaty mess and just head straight home so carmex is plenty. 😉

Chapstick for sure! I always have to have some on hand with me especially in the winter time! I’ve been looking for the right gym bag but I haven’t found a style I like yet so I use drawstrings from races most of the time for my gym bag.

I don’t have a dedicated gym bag, but I definitely would have lip balm in it if I did! I keep it everywhere because you never know when you are going to need it! My current favorites are Pixi Beauty Shea Butter Lip Balm (I got my mom addicted to this too!) and Desert Essence Lip Rescue Balm which is perfect for dry winter lips.
I embarrassingly have about 4 different chapsticks in my bag right now! It’s something that I tend to lose easily, so I always add extra to my bag and then end up with a ton!

I don’t have a gym bag right now (sob), so depending on how rushed I am and where I’m coming from, I either throw my gym stuff into my work bag or my purse. I take Chapstick with me everywhere I go, for sure!

My go to lip balm is Vaseline! The small size so I can pop it in my bag, and the lid doesn’t let unmentionables sneak in there. Plus the super unique size helps me find it when I reach in. It is super conditioning and helps with the cold weather we are having in VA right now!!

I have chapstick in every bag I own…and then if I can’t find a chapstick when I need it, I buy another three pack 🙂
Nope! I can’t stand the way it makes my lips feel.
During the winter months I have about 10 chapsticks floating around, including about 3 in my gym bag!

Yes, my daughter was given a chapstick making kit for Christmas so I have a tropical fruit punch flavor…..really makes me want a cocktail at 8am!

I do not have any lip treatment in my gym tote. It is in ALL of my coat pockets and in my car.

I think I have at least 3 chapsticks in my gym bag, along with the purse, car, desk, nightstand, etc. Anytime they have the freebie ones when the gym has promos, they all end up in the gym bag somewhere, the hard part is trying to find one. 😉

I have chapstick everywhere too – keep bouncing between the Carmex (stick) and Burt’s Bees (OH, and Trader Joes has a good minty one too). My lips can’t go more than 30 minutes without it!
