Hi! It’s Monica… ya know, from Run Eat Repeat?

I’ve been getting a lot of messages that you miss my old random running and eating posts.

I definitely miss hanging out more here.

It makes me happy that you still want to know what’s going on with me.

So I am trying to reorganize my blog and podcast schedule.

I’ll be back soon with this weekend’s half marathon race recap and a new schedule of posts.

I know not everyone listens to podcasts but the funny thing is that the podcast is very personal. I think it probably feels more one-on-one then the blog.

So I want to ask that you download a podcast app and listen to the most recent few run eat repeat podcast episodes.

You might actually like that better than this!

Or you might realize that I’m super annoying and you don’t want to follow either. In which case I’m really shooting myself in the foot here and I need that foot to run!!

But really I think it’s a great way for us to hang out and you can listen to it while you work out. Multitasking FTW.

I’m still trying to figure out how much running and nutrition information to post on the podcast balanced with personal info.

Leave a comment if you have any thoughts on that.

I post on Instagram all the time so make sure that you follow @RunEatRepeat on Instagram and watch my IG stories because it is really like hanging out with me all day.

And I would like that so I could tell my mom that I made some friends.

    I think it depends on your objective for the podcast. What’s your business goal? Start a new medium to acquire new followers/grow your audience, which then opens you up to more sponsorships and further opportunities? Then share the balance of personal and nutrition/running into with that in mind. If it’s just a fun new hobby for you I wouldn’t worry about it as much.

    Consider too that your audiences aren’t going to be the same or overlap as much as you might think. You probably will have a lot of followers that read the blog OR listen to the podcasts but not both. That’s a lot of Monica… especially in a market that’s already over saturated with great content.

    The double edged sword of it is that a lot of your followers and audience came on board because you did share a lot of personal info that made you relatable and approachable (myself included), specifically in written form.

    Yay! I missed the old format too but didn’t want to say anything because I know you’re working super hard on the podcast. Not sure why I haven’t gotten into podcasts – they are just sort of too long for me in general. I like reading when I have a free few minutes in my day. Good luck! Still with you whatever format but definitely looking for more of the silly randomness!

    I miss the more frequent blog posts too. I found your blog last year and it was really instrumental in motivating me to train for my marathon when I just couldn’t get motivated. I do a lot blog reading at work (oops! sorry work). I’ve tried listening to podcasts while working but I find that I stop actually listening. So I’ll end up a forty minutes into it and have no idea what is actually going on. But I recently started using instagram a lot more than I used to so I follow you there and I feel like we’re close friends 🙂

    Miss your regular blogs soooo much. Tried listening to the podcast a couple times; kinda turned off by the into music and announcer. So sorry 🙁 Always enjoyed the YouTube videos you’d make. Loved the blog so much. Podcast… eh, not so much. But who am I to say?! You do you – run, eat, repeat and tell about it any way that makes you happy 🙂

    so excited to hear this! I actually do follow you on IG and watch your stories…but something about reading your blog…dunno. I have SOOOO many podcasts right now I can barely keep up, so adding another one feels like too much. BUT I will give it a shot! 🙂

    I’m so glad you’ll be bringing back some regular blogging. I do listen to the podcast from time to time, but it’s just not the same. I also do a lot of my blog reading at work (don’t tell my boss ;p) and I can’t listen to podcasts or watch IG stories during that time. So I’m really looking forward to reading more :)!

    I spy a bottle of sriracha hot sauce! I am addicted to that stuff. Unfortunately, I recently started getting really bad hear burn, so my Doc said to lay off … boo! So, I’ve cut back to 1 squeeze instead of 3! Ha!

    I checked that picture very carefully to see if I could get a glimpse of cat ear, tail, or whisker … not even a piece! He must have been snoozing somewhere. Has he completely recovered from his cat fight?

    I’ve been reading your blog from almost the start. I’m not a runner so when it’s about running all the time I lose interest a bit more than when you talk about food or trips or just your daily life.

    I LOVE the blog – but I read it while I eat breakfast in the morning and so when it’s a podcast day I skip altogether and move on to another blogger…. bring back the words and the humor!

    I too miss the daily real life blogging. I honestly feel like you’ve become a reviewer of a lot of products/events but we’ve lost the personal aspect of the blog. I hope you are able to bring it back.

    I like the blog better than the podcast! I wish you would keep your usual content on the blog and supplement with the podcast about…something else? More in depth? Not sure! I just like reading more than listening!

    I totally miss the usual blog stuff! I kinda guessed the podcast had become your outlet and I was missing out big time, but thing is, I do most of my blog reading while snuggled up with a sleeping kid, so I can’t listen. (I am writing this on my phone while her bed time song is playing.) Thats my 2 cents. LOoooooong time reader, infrequent commentor, because commenting on my phone sucks.
