5 Things You Should Do for National Margarita Day

Fun

22 Feb

Today is National Margarita Day!! I guess  it’s perfect timing since it’s Monday and in the dead of winter (for some people) and all the fun holidays are behind us for a while. We need a margarita!!! Or at least I wouldn’t mind one.

Here is a list of the 5 things you should do on National Margarita Day…

1. Drink a Margarita. Or two. Here are two of my favorite recipes…

2. Go for a run.

Margaritas have sugar and salt (and tequila).

The salt and sugar are good running fuel and the tequila makes all the pain go away.

At least in theory.

3. Consider a “Will Run for Margaritas” shirt or medal hanger so people know who they’re dealing with.

4. Drink another margarita.

i like mine no margarita mix[3] more fun with margaritas[3]

5. Hide your phone from yourself so you don’t text people you shouldn’t.

i didnt text you margarita did funny-pictures-cat-drinks-margarita this calls for margarita[3]

Question: Are you celebrating this amazing National Margarita Day with a draaaank or non-alcoholic option??

sad! this sounds so good and refreshing. alas I just started antibiotics for bronchitis. (still ran my first 5K race of the year yesterday followed by a trail of tissues, maybe not my best idea). I will drink gallons of water and you all can enjoy an icy marg for me 😉

Dude! I could totally use a margarita today. I might just dig in to one of those frozen pouch ones I have hidden in the back of my freezer. Shhhh….don’t tell anyone. But only if I get some running in too.

I think I mixed this up with national coffee day. I have had 32 oz already. Wow. Imagine I had 32 oz of margarita?! It’s only 1:30pm. Lol.
