Chocolate Chips and PB

Lunch

FacebookTweetPin
9 Oct

While I like Dark Chocolate Dreams, I think I love putting chocolate chips and PB together more! I brought an apple and a container of PB&choc chips for an afternoon snack. A few seconds in the microwave and it all melts together – Amazing. The only downside to this snack is, as much as I try, I don’t like PB with fruit. I think it takes away from it. I prefer my PB with a cracker or bread!IMG_1592

Around 11:30am I got hungry for lunch and went for it. I haven’t been having a morning snack so an early lunch is okay with me. IMG_1589

I had a salmon salad sandwich, carrots, grapes, IMG_1588and a bar for dessert 🙂IMG_1590

I also had a few several handfuls of Panda Puffs. I should just learn to keep sugarly cereals at the store and not take them home with me!

The Move…I finally bit the bullet and made a reservation for my car to be shipped out here. I’m actually sad about it – and not just because it was sooo expensive and I’m poor. But, I’m sad because it makes the move “real”. I just kinda wanted to keep this in my mind as a vacation. Marland is really pretty and everyone is so nice and friendly, but it’s not home.

I feel your pain. I just moved with (and for) my husband 600 miles from my family and friends (and the only home I’ve known which happens to be MD). I know you are a little further from home than I am but I haven’t found my groove either. You have to take the little things and build on them, at least that is what I keep telling myself.

I don’t like PB with fruit either. Wheaty carbs are the perfect, unassuming base

I’m sorry you haven’t found your groove yet in your new home. Hopefully, having your car will give you more freedom to explore and get out to meet more people.

I don’t like PB with fruit unless it’s in a wrap or oatmeal.

      Have a great weekend!
