Run Eat Repeat

Best Run Eat and Repeat of August

Hello! How was your weekend? Mine is slowly winding down.

And I’m trying to slow it down even more…

wine me (600x800) drink wine

This morning I took a walk to shake out my legs and stretch. Breakfast was the usual – eggs, but with the added bonus of tamales. Love.

I tried to be responsible and do some actual work on this Labor Day cleaning and doing some blog stuff.

Lunch was a great taco salad! Note the Sabra Greek Yogurt Dip. It’s new to me and I’m still deciding if I dig it. I always and forever love the hummus though.

The star of the show/my life is this Trek Mix. I try not to buy stuff like this for my house since I’m known to eat it all in one day, but this was leftover from Ben’s MIA road trip extravaganza.

Let’s get to the best part of stuff though…

Running Blog Favorites for August

My favorite Run

My first leg of the Hood to Coast Relay was my favorite run of the month. It was a GORGEOUS run and the first time I’ve run in Oregon. Loved every second.

My favorite Eat

It’s a tie between Watermelon Yogurt (see my vlog review there!) and

Trail mix is addicting! I make sure to portion mine out…haha…otherwise I just might gain 5 pounds the next day.

Omg I’m the same way with trail mix – It will be gone without me even realizing how much I ate – why is it sooo good?? The best thing I did in August had to of been my beach trip to Isle of Palms. Oh I miss the beach and vacation SOO much. I’ll probably miss the warm air during my nightly walks with the pups as well 🙁 I need to try your 3 ingredient pancakes asap!

Best thing I did was a toss up between taking third in my age group in a triathlon or biking 18 miles to a winery to do a full flight of Rose tasting in FULL on spandex. Best thing I ate was homemade lobster tails…or maybe that rose. August was awesome, here’s to a super September.

August went by so fast! I think the very best thing I did was fly to Florida from California to visit my family this past weekend for Labor Day. It would be impossible to choose the best food, because I ate at a lot of new San Francisco restaurants, and they were all pretty awesome. Happy Tuesday! 🙂 Here’s to a new month.

YUM to that salad! I haven’t yet even seen the greek yogurt dip, looks interesting!

I’ll be going to see a friend at the end of September in Bend, OR, and I’m excited to get the chance to run there too!

Yeah, my family likes the dip but it’s very sour creamy (which isn’t normally my thing) so I can’t decide.
