Hello! I have more race discount codes for you today! I love when I can share the love.

new half marathon discount code

It has only been 28 hours since the Ventura Marathon and I’m all ready to get out there and run another race! And if you want to come out and run a half marathon in two weeks the Harvest Half Marathon is Sept 20th in Camarillo!

And there are two awesome half marathons north of Los Angeles in December too. So you have plenty of time to train for those if you want to actually show up on race day prepared (not my style, but whatev).

I have the MS Muckfest Los Angeles on October 25, and here’s a discount code for that one: MUCK15.

Also the Avengers Half at DL In November.

I always run the Redondo Super Bowl 10-K. It’s a family affair!

Also doing Tinkerbell Half at DL in May.

For training I run 3x a week and take a pilates class 3x a week.

That’s so awesome of you to pass along race discounts! I don’t live in your area so I can’t take advantage of them but I have been digging around for some races lately. I’m just coming back from injury so I’m sticking to the 5K world, but there are a ton of cute ones coming up with the holidays. My greatest hope is to find one in which it is acceptable to run in a Halloween costume. Running while looking ridiculous is just so much more fun!

Racing my first half in November and hoping to place in my age group (it’s a small race)! I’m then running a 5K Turkey Trot to see how a higher running volume affected my speed in shorter races. Not that many races available in the northern part of the Midwest after that until spring, unfortunately.

My racing schedule for the rest of 2014 consists of running the Portland Half and the Seattle Half. I’m trying to avoid injury before I (hopefully) start training in December for the Boston Marathon, so I’ll take it easy in Portland and Seattle.

Half ironman at the end of this month, marathon at the end of November. Nothing little left this year! Might jump in on a half marathon in October/early November if it makes sense to do so, but it would be a training race.

I have a half marathon in mid-October and then a few fun 5K’s to round out the year. I’m definitely a fair weather runner and winters in the midwest are too cold for racing! 🙂

LA Dodgers Foundation 5k (Inaugural) on 9/21
Ragnar Trail Vail Lake 10/10 (nervously excited)

I’d like to throw a half in there somewhere but in all honesty it may have to wait until early next year. I’m a little tapped on funds and races aren’t cheap! With two busy kids, time away on a weekend is rough to manage; let’s be honest, they OWN me!

I haven’t run a race in uhhhhh over a year? I think I got burnt out and tired of doing races! I’m just starting to get back into running but I still might wait a little longer to sign up for a race. Maybe this spring!

I’ve got a 10K this weekend, then a Rock’n’Roll half in St. Louis in October. After that, the weather is kind of the pits here in northern MN. I would so love to come to Cali in December, but I’m not sure my hubby will get on board with that idea!
