The Easiest Green Smoothie Recipe Of Your Life

Hello! I made a super easy green smoothie today that only requires 3 ingredients. Plus, they are all ingredients everyone will recognize so you don’t need to hit up the farmer’s market in Peru for organic chia-spirulina-goji-berry powder grown on a mountain side and fertilized by baby goats.

I’m a fan of simple smoothies with a handful of spinach to add some extra vitamins. Plus this recipe doesn’t require protein powder since I used nonfat dairy milk  which has 11 grams of protein per serving.

I’ve made green smoothies in the past with a non-dairy milk option, but the thing about that is they don’t have a lot of protein. Dairy milk can contain approximately 6x the amount of calcium as soy beverages, approximately 8x the protein of almond beverages.

Ingredients: 1 ripe banana, 1 cup milk, BIG handful spinach, ice.

Blend. Drink. Repeat.

Optional: Add flax seed, peanut butter or chia seeds for extra protein and fiber.

I used A2 Milk for this – but it’s not sweetened. You can use your fave dairy milk and it should work great.

Question: When was the last time you had a smoothie?

Me: This morning.

I do not drink smoothies regularly enough. I used to think I would have them for breakfast each morning since this is the meal I tend to be the worst at, but I really have been slacking.

I have smoothies every day and have been getting a little obsessed making smoothie bowls. They’re just so pretty! I also have an IG problem haha.
