Good morning / afternoon / evening / middle of of the night! I have a bunch of great so-so life hacks to share with you today! Are you ready? They’re all based on my lil weekend… so here we go…

How to get ready for a long run:

drink iced coffee, eat a few frozen waffles, slather on sunblock and let your cat judge you:

    Oh my gosh. You are lathering on sun block when in Chicago it’s -4 with a real feel of -20 *cries frozen tears* Anyways, since it’s so cold we stayed in and I won $100 at a blackjack table at the casino!

    Turkey burger sliders with cheddar cheese on little pretzel buns. Delicious and cute! Those were accompanied by a basket of homemade potato chips. Yummers!

    Best thing I did this weekend was go to a baby shower in Manhattan – it was in a penthouse with amazing views and tons of champagne!

    Best thing I ate was doughnuts at the party. I’m super healthy this weekend.

    Best thing I ate all weekend: Taco soup!!!

    Best thing I did all weekend: Work out. I’m working towards 100# bench press and I can’t seem to get close. Tonight I did 3 reps at 95#, which is one more than last week. Small progress, but progress none the lest. Second best thing I did is walk like crazy. I’m about to head out for a 5 mile walk.

    Best thing I ate: om bar chocolate buttons (need a bigger packet! )

    Best thing I did: a frosty run catching the sunrise over the Thames. Best endorphin booster!

    I had my work holiday party last night. It was a lot of fun!

    Before that we finally finished car shopping for my daughter. She got the car she wanted and I no longer have to spend my time car shopping. Win, win!
