Fun· What Runners Eat

14 Jan

Hello! How are ya? I have been a busy lil bee because I needed to take awkward photos for a super fun project I have coming up.

Exhibit Awkward:

Olivas_Monica

But let’s talk about every second of my day including what I ate and wore and la-di-da…

I slept in ProCompression Socks last night because I can. Sexy lingerie’s got nothing on compression gear. (Use ‘RER’ for 40% off!). Vegas insists on photo-bombing my life away.

I’m all about embracing comfort and style, and let me tell you, it’s not just about what’s under the clothes but how it makes you feel.

Foxy Lingerie has totally nailed it with their latest collection—where sophistication meets sultry in the most unexpected ways. I’m talking about pieces that make you feel like a million bucks without sacrificing an ounce of comfort.

Whether it’s lace that feels like a gentle caress or silk that glides over your skin, They knows how to make a statement while keeping it effortlessly chic.

wake up with a cat (600x800)

I had to get a few things done before my run so the sun was shining down on me pretty hard by the time I was finished with my 10 miler. I noticed my shadow and stopped to take a running pose picture.

run eat repeat shadow (600x800)

The sun’s angle can distort your shadow obviously – notice how my bottom half looks bigger than my top (which it is in real life, but not to this degree).

But then notice, MY HUGE HEAD (not in the conceited way, trust me). I seriously have the biggest head (and hands and feet). I am self-conscious about my massive head and face and feets and hands because I think it’s pretty obvious that they are larger than they should be for a girl that’s not a WNBA player. Like, I feel like the nail lady at the salon is going to charge me extra one day for all the extra lotion and nail polish they have to use on me…

Random. Super random Monican.

Have a great day!!

Question: How productive have you been today?

Do you have a small, medium or large head?

Are your tempted to measure your head now??

Because I am.

I have a large/weird head. I can’t wear those headbands everyone wears, because my hair is so thin and fine, and they slip out. I actually have monkey arms, and large hands and feet. I wear a 11.5 running shoe and I am only 5’7″.

I’ve never thought about the size of my head so that makes me think it’s normal sized.

I just have to say, first off, you’re funny!

I googled Intuitive Eating because I am giving it a try. I came across your blog and clicked. I like it and have been looking around it for the last half hour (at work I might add – and because of that I’d also like to add THANK YOU for the info listed with videos for ppl at work! lol).

I am also a beginner runner and running my first 5K in 2 days! I am extremely slow but don’t even care! To tell the truth – the faster I run the more I wet my pants. (results of childbirth lol)

I did not notice the size of your head or any other part of your body in any pictures. Even after reading this post I do not think you have a large head at all but you are beautiful!

    Just had to say! =)

I’ve slept in calf sleeves before too.
I must say my head is on the bigger size because I always stretch out my Bic bands so much. I can’t even wear them anymore…

I think my head’s fairly average sized – I haven’t thought that much about it.

I did a whole lot of nothing yesterday – well, I cleaned and did some laundry (and managed to shrink one of my boyfriend’s favorite sweaters – oops!)

My head seems to be normal, but when I have my bangs back I think my forehead is of a questionable size. Oh well, sometimes I just want those suckers out of my face!

I have a big head (Lots of flowy, full, hair!) , big butt (totally in style right now), big hands (I’ve dated guys with the same size hands 😐 ), and big feet (size 9 1/2-10!). SO basically I’m proportionate…and so are you! Now, Hey Arnold from Nickelodeon…that guy had a big head.

I’d say my head is of average size. 🙂

I have a normal sized head but big ears. I really wish some people had been walking by you when you were taking shadow selfies 🙂 It would have made my day to randomly see that.

I’d never think your head was big…I like your features :). Clementines are the best…nature’s candy (so long raisins). We had a pretty great Wednesday, a little busy but was able to get in 4 miles with my MRTT friend and our kiddos. Have a great rest of your week.

I think my head is small actually. Hats are always big on me. Now I think i’m self-conscious thinking I have nothing inside my brain…
I worked today. Like, my real job(s). So no, I was NOT productive. haha

While my head is pretty average size, maybe even a bit small, my hands and feet are huge for a female! SO many pairs of cute shoes are no longer cute when you get to my size. Booo. But hey, maybe my clown feet make me run better, right?

I have a large head and large feet for someone who is small. I have always assumed that my large feet were to offset my clumsiness (failing…?) and that hopefully my head was for a large, brilliant brain (hmmmmm… obviously ;-))
interesting fact: 10 years ago your hat, glove, shoe and pants size were supposed to be the same. Mine never have been, proving that I have an enormous head and giant feet, normal hands and silly small everything else. I’m spare parts haahahaha!!

3.2ish clementines make up one regular sized orange! Interesting fact of the day! (one night, my husband and I had a couple drinks and we decided to weigh both oranges on our food scale….. I know, we’re cool!)

Very productive… Making some huge life changes, and slowly preparing for that.

Always looks like you have a good time….. It’s intoxicating! Love your blog.

My head is HUGE, like hats don’t fit me huge. Once I accidentally bought a children’s hat (hey it was cheaper) and I didn’t have time to back it back before I needed to wear it. That was painful.

I have a very small head and it makes buying hats and visors a literal pain in the a$$. Adversely, I can shop in the children’s section so there’s that. 🙂

Not too terribly productive here today but I got 8 miles in this morning.

Surprisingly u still was able to get some stuff done around the house. Then I managed to get one little run with my labs only to face plant it on the pavement before I even left my neighborhood. Yeah totally embarrassing!

I have been rather productive today. Workout, job applications, household chores, and now I am about to get productive by making dinner.
