It’s Boston Marathon Monday! I’m excited because the best runners in the world are running and it’s amazing and inspiring to watch them go! Plus, I have a few friends running and it’s a huge life goal for me to run the race one day.

I have run 7 Half Marathons…and since i started running, i have told myself i will never want to run a marathon…well the marathon bug has bit me i think. I am thinking about running a marathon in maybe two years, and although it is a challenge, i want Boston to be my first. I’m a Masshole at heart and it would be perfect. But i am nervous and would love any tips/advice etc you have for me! My best half was 2:47, so i know with training I can finish a marthon within 6hours, but since Boston is such a high profile race, it makes me nervous to be that “slow” of a runner!

streamed it during my 8 miler on the dreadmill! Made getting through 8 seem like nothing! lol! So sad that Shalane fell back but she ran a great race. So impressive!

I’m from the Boston area but was at the Red Sox game nearby when the elites ran by. I saw them finish on TV and wish I was down there watching! We walked over to the 25.2 mile mark after the game got rained out, and watched the “regular people” run by. Super inspiring! I would love to run Boston someday!

I definitely followed all the live tweets from @RWElites! I wasn’t able to actually watch it, which I would have loved to. Oh well – something to use as procrastination tonight. 🙂
