Confession Day Camel Milk

My Life

FacebookTweetPin
27 Apr

Confession Thursday Wednesday! It’s that time again, time for me come clean about some stuff that is keeping me up at night. Well, maybe not keeping me up at night but at least making me a little nervous that I’m a horrible person. Or if I’m not a horrible person, just a normal person that wants to get this weird stuff out in the open….

Confession, I saw camel milk at the health foods store a few days ago and was tempted to get it because I’m sure it cures cancer. And because I saw Andrew Zimmerman drink it on Bizarre Foods recently and want to be like him.

Confession #2 – it is $22.00!! I didn’t buy it, but I think the camel farmers should fess up on why it’s so expensive!

Confession, I was out running errands for a few hours yesterday and got in my car at the end of the day and saw my hair clip was just hanging on randomly. Ha! I probably was walking around like that forever.

Confession, when I got to my mom’s this weekend I saw a watermelon on the counter and immediately cut it and ate most of it. I hope she wasn’t saving it for anything.

Confession, the toe I broke in DECEMBER is still discolored. What.the.heck. I must have done some real tissue damage on it.

my broken toe is still red (450x800)

Confession, when I do strength workouts at home sometimes I take a break in between sets and have a snack.

Question: Have anything to confess?

I’m confused as to how the milk is made in the USA. I’m pretty sure we don’t have camels here!

I have to confess that I have a discolored pinky toe too! I stubbed it really badly a couple of months back and it is still a little swollen and discolored and it’s still sore. I didn’t bother going to the doctor b/c I don’t think they can do anything for a broken pinky toe. I also don’t want them to say I can’t run….lol

i broke my pinky toe 15 years ago and it’s still discolored. not as much as it used to be, but i don’t hold any hope of it ever being normal again. welcome to the broken toe club! xox

Oh no! That is not what I wanted to hear (but kind of suspected).

I saw camel milk for the first time watching Amazing Race a few weeks ago. Teams had to lead camels through the desert in Abu Dabi and drink camel’s milk at the destination. The participants said it tasted a lot like whole (cow’s) milk.
My confession, I binge watch the Amazing Race and am fully convinced I could win.

Yesterday I laid down on the floor with my foam roller with every intention of rolling out my hamstrings and calves but instead i used it as a pillow and pulled a blanket on me and just watched TV. HA! I feel so much better for confessing…

When I’m hungry my 5 year old can talk me into getting any snack she wants. I’ll be like yes lets eat all of it!

I would definitely go have your toe looked at!

Also, I can totally relate to having your hair clips hanging on like that. Looks exactly like something I would do!

Aren’t you concerned about your toe?! Have you had a doctor look at it? I would be so afraid that it was going to get worse and fall off &/or spread up my leg! Maybe not so dramatic, but OMG I would be worried!
