I have been craving pancakes for a couple of weeks and finally had the time to make them Sunday  morning. I made them with oat bran, a little ww flour, egg whites and almond milk. Maple syrup and a naner on the side. foodies-1185I was out running errands until 4pm! I ate an apple on the road and some grapes (no pic). It’s weird, but I wasn’t really that hungry. I just ate the fruit because it had been so long since I’d eaten. But, I could have waited.

When I got home I wanted something quick and easy – so I went with the easiest choice ever – LC pizza and salad on the side. It’s a big salad so I put it in a tupperware. I’m fancy like that.foodies-1186I also ate three cookies. I don’t know if it’s because I don’t eat sugar cookies that often or becuase I have a crazy sweet tooth, but I really like these! Everytime I pass by them I want to dig in!foodies-1187Then, drama. My cat has been acting weird lately. He is prone to UTIs and has been showing signs of having one. When I got home he was meowing weird and I caught him peeing on a pile of clothes that were on the floor ready to be washed! I know it was a UTI since he’s had them before and shows the same symptoms. So, I struggled with if I should take him into the emergency vet right away or wait to take him to his vet (much cheaper!!!) in the morning.

I have a lot of stressful personal things going on right now (that I obviously don’t want to discuss). The addition of my cat being sick is not helping things. I didn’t think it was a good idea for me to add another thing to worry about overnight so I took him into the emergency vet. Over $200 and 2 1/2 hours later I was home. By that time it was 10pm. I made a sammie, ate some ice cream and went to bed. foodies-1188foodies-1189
