This afternoon Ben and I headed to his brother’s house for some pyro-technics. They have different hobbies in Florida than in California I guess.![]()
I stayed far away from the fun fire, but not far from the bugs (as the bites around my ankles prove).![]()
Just when I was convinced the guys were going to blow their fingers and eyebrows straight off, the rain decided to call us inside.
Perfect timing since I was also hungry by this point
Dinner was another mish-mash of everything on the table: flat out crisps, beans, potato salad, chicken salad and brussel sprouts.![]()
We hit up Publix this afternoon and I spotted these new-to-me / not-available-in-California – Flat out crackers! I liked them ![]()
![]()
I enjoyed some watermelon too…![]()
But, since fruit isn’t dessert I also had 3 chocolate chip cookies. I went overboard tonight and will make smarter choices tomorrow.![]()

It cracks me up that all of your meals are a bunch of random things all mushed up together. You’d be my friend’s worst nightmare. She can’t have any of her food touch each other.
Glad all of the fingers and eyebrows are fine 😉
I am flat out fanatical over flat outs… they are flat out the best flats ever put out.
All that food looks amazing! I also hung out with friends this past weekend and indulged in at least 3 cookies!!
Some days you just HAVE to have a cookie.. or three. No shame 🙂
I love going to grocery stores in different areas and finding all the goodies you can’t get elsewhere. It’s like a strange strange hobby of mine…
Me too! It is one my favorite vacation activities! That and reading the names of business outloud, everything always sound so strange and interesting in other towns!
those cookies look amazing! i would have eaten 3 of them also. it’s OK to indulge every once in a while 🙂
