Get me to Florida

Ha! I made it. Run Eat Repeat is typing with a smile from Fabulous Florida!! Even though it is colder than usual here, I am very happy to be able to feel my toes again 🙂

I was frantically running around this morning in order to get everything done in time. I am proud of my organized packing. I wanted to make sure I had all my running gear and fuel so there is a baggie for each one.IMG_3840

I had to pack my lunch to eat at the airport since I was late. I made a veggie burger in a pita, an apple, carrots and a Luna bar.IMG_3847

Before I left I ate half an avocado with chips. This is the best way to eat avacado!IMG_3844

There may have been some Coke zero and peanuts enjoyed too 😉

We had a short layover in Atlanta and I of course spotted my favorite food = frozen yogurt. And this time when I wanted frozen yogurt I wasn’t frozen Monica in MD so I could enjoy it. I got a small tart yogurt. It was no Yogurtland, but it made me happy.frozen yogurt

By the time we got to Florida it was past dinner time so we stopped at Carrabba’s. I had never been there before and wasn’t very optimistic about going to a chain, but it was good! I started with bread of course. This x3, but they were small…bread

and ordered a big, fancy salad with shrimp and 2 scallops (I counted). Even though it was a little skimpy on scallops they were tasty.salad

Now it is late, and I got to get some rest even though I don’t feel tired (damn caffeine in all that Coke zero!).

Before you go I have to share my love for Beyonce’s Single Ladies performance at the VMAs. I know I’m late on this, but she is AMAZING. I may have stopped what I was doing and danced along 🙂

Love,

Yay for an uneventful flight! 🙂 I really wanted yogurt when I was in Charlotte airport, but our layover was too chort. 🙁

Ah even cold FL is better than the cold northeast! I cannot wait till we head to the FL Keys at the end of the month. Till then I’ll just have to be jealous of your trip. 😉

Coke always keeps me awake too ,and gives me the jitters…why the heck do I drink it!?
That’s a good way of eating avocade – I’ve recently become an avocado convert, but they always seem so hard when I get them and I have NO patience to wait til they ripen more :p
    Enjoy the sun!

When I went swing dancing tonight, anytime I made a huge mistake, I’d start singing this song and dancing like beyonce! … because I’m better at dancing like her than swing dancing! (which says very little about my swing dancing skills)

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR MARATHON! I have a friend running it too! 🙂 So exciting!
